this thread actually brought me to the idea of trying out NMDA (Glutamate) Antagonist Memantine and it really improves my ability to perform tasks by at least 50%! Why not only stay away from Gluten but decrease the overall glutamate amount binding to CNS sites? it works!

It is just so confusing and depressing. I have been under alot of stress this year and just losing my dad and heard something last month that is very stressful. Could stress make it worse? Hi, I haven't tried to appliance. I'm a 35 year old male that's had tourettes/ocd since around 8 or 9. My suggestion would be to try a glutamate antagonist...like memantine or riluzole. They seem to have less side effects than the typical med's used to treat ocd/tics. I've been on paxil since I was 15 and risperdal since I was about 20. They both just basically kept the edge off. The sexual side effect ***** though. No sex life at all.
