does skelaxin expire

Having some very bad lower back pain today that tylenol isn't touching. I was wondering about Skelaxin. I have some and have taken it in the past...but don't even remember side effects or how I felt taking it or anything. Is this addictive?Anybody know anything about it? Thanks!

I am prescribed Celebrex and skelaxin. I have a question about the skelaxin. Well my job is physically demanding I work in a hospital I do patient care I "boost" patients, transport patients, help very unsteady patients get out of bed and walk. So quite often I need to take my skelaxin. My lower back tightens up and I just need some relief. I have been taking it a bit more often than I did say 6 months ago.

When does Alprazolam expire? I noticed there is no expiration date printed on the prescription bottle. I've asked the pharmasist who filled the prescription on two separate occassions; but, recieved two different answers. The first answer was: ' One year after the perscription was filled'. The later answer was: 'Two years after the prescription was filled.' So that leaves me with not knowing which one to go by. The prescription was filled 10 and 1/2 months ago.

My nexplanon is about to expire next month. I’ve had it for 3 years and it’s been GREAT. I did gain about 20-30 pounds with it so that’s the only reason I’m looking into the iud. What are y’all experience with the IUD?

I am doing this therapy and I hope I can get myself back in shape and maybe that will help too. Thanks for your reply and I agree the Skelaxin does make me feel kind of heavy. I have only taken it at night. I wonder if it would help to wd from the hydro since I don't have any valiume (sp)?

They expire 5 years after the date they were manufactured!

I don't think that amount of wine alone would elevate you enzymes but with the drugs you're taking I really don't know. I believe that Skelaxin may be associated with elevated liver enzymes is some people but again, I am not sure of this. I would Google all of the drugs you're taking with the word "liver" or "hepatic" eg "Skelaxin Liver".

No... stuff Like That doesn't really have an expiration date. But If u wanna be extra cautious about It it'll have one stamped on It If It does Just Like food does. Stocking up now Is a good idea.

t take during the day,as I have small kids and it made me VERY sleepy!) Then I was put on Skelaxin and I feel like that does nothing( 800mg. 3x day) I could take 2 at one time and still...nothing? I think I'm going to ask to go back on Flexeril(for bed time) to reduce my pain and spasms) Thanks!

Just expires and then on to the next cycle. Im pretty sure they dont suspend it.

I was diagnosed at age 16, and have been on several powerful medications. Skelaxin and Relafin are two which have helped most, but go to a doctor and explain the pain you are experiencing to them! If they are a good doctor at all, they will help you to alleviate the pain with a mix of medication and physical therapy as they did with me. I wish you the best.

Today, my neuro suggested i try SKELAXIN (muscle relaxer) for the spasams I am experiencing. I will start those tomorrow. It says take 3x a day, every 8 hours. And if need be a 4th one can be taken. Does this sound right ........every 8 hours?? Please tell me what you think. I pray that everyone is doing ok. This limboland is really taking its toll on me and my family. Have not worked since Jan. that is putting a strain on us finacially. Not to mention, all the worry about my health.

As the result of a back injury in February, I began taking Soma and 10 mgs of hydrocodone at night to help me sleep. I took no pain killers during the day, just Skelaxin. I stopped taking Skelaxin several weeks ago and am now in the process of discontinuing the Hydrocodone. I took the last Soma and 1/2 of a 5 mg tablet several nights ago. This is my second round with trying to get off this med. The problem is the insomnia or sleeplessness that occurs in the middle of the night.

oh and broke down and took a muscle relaxer. skelaxin. this shouldn't be a problem right? found an old script. ibuprofen was not cutting it.

Yes, car seats expire! I've got two that are used, but both babies they came from are just at a year old each. Explain to her that you would love to accept it, but since it does expire, you want to do what's best for baby, look up the expiration for the seat and show her.

I am a 29 year old female in good shape. 5'8 and weigh 130. Does anyone know where I would take this next? SYMPTOMS (not constant but for majority of the day) Aching legs, shoulders, and left arm. Tingling sensation in left arm and face Warm sensation in legs…almost feels “numb” sometimes Left side of neck hurts…feels kinked. Ears sometimes ache. Left chest, and back ache sometimes. Body in general aches (unless moving) Fatigued Nauseous I feel very “off” and not normal.

I will try to avoid them right now tho because they make me sluggish and I am already fatigued with my cut in dose of hydrocodne..anything can be abused...skelaxin is a fairly safe muscle relaxer.....

I find that it works pretty well for me and for me, it does not make me as sleepy as flexeril does (another muscle relaxer), but of course, everyone is different, so it may very well affect you differently. I've also tried Skelaxin, but for me, it did absolutely nothing.

My ex-SIL worked as a medical transcriber and knew facts like that. So while something does expire it really just loses effectiveness over time. Since these are vitamins and not necessarily medications I would take them with OJ (helps the absorbency).

The muscle relaxer the dr gave me is Skelaxin. Anybody else ever try this. I read on drug ******* the reviews and some people said it really helped without making them dizzy like most of them do. Man I sure hope it helps so I can keep weening off the hydros.
