Pharmacological stress Tc-99m MIBI scan was performed with Dipyridamole given at arate of 0.14 mg/Kg/min over 4 minutes followed by injection of radio tracer 6 minutes later.
Findings are: Peak stress images revealed hypoperfused infero-septal and apical segment, which showed reversal at rest.
Impression: Findings are consistent with infero-septal and apical reversible ischemia.

The adverse effects experienced are similar to those with use of adenosine. While adverse effects are less frequent with dipyridamole (47% of patients), they tend to be more serious than those associated with adenosine. The most common adverse effects of dipyridamole are chest pain (19%), headache (12%), and hypotension (4.6%). In addition, 12% of patients require aminophylline for reversal of adverse effects.
Persantine is dipyridamole, but you will have to get extended release tablets as the two asprin and dipyridamole should not be taken together. Don’t change the medications without discussing with your doctor. So, consult him and then decide.

While you are taking Aggrenox (aspirin/dipyridamole), you should avoid taking over-the-counter pain medicine, especially any other products containing aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Also, Avoid alcohol, or drink a minimal amount, as the combination of Aggrenox and alcohol could cause stomach bleeding.
Some of the alternatives include aspirin, Clopidogrel (Plavix), ticlodipine (Ticlid), dipyridamole (Persantine). Another alternative is Heparin injection. Different situations require different levels of anticoagulation. It is important to discuss the best treatment option with a physician.
I suffered a mild stroke (blood clot) Consultant prescribed Clopidogrel but cannot tolerate side effects. Then consultant prescribed Dipyridamole. I cannot tolerate this either. Severe headache, vomiting and diarrhoea. Has anybody got a different medication they are on?

Yes. The contact lens material may have denatured somehow (changed its chemical structure). Also, if the seals look damaged, potentially the contact lenses have become contaminated. Might I suggest that you not take undue risks with your eyes by attempting to save money through buying your contacts in "a hot country" and having them shipped to you in a cooler one?
ECG last month showed SVES, RBBB. This week he has stress test with dipyridamole protocol, and injection of thallium-201. The result showed "evidence of mild, small to medium size, irreversible perfusion defect in the inferior/inferolateral wall (mid to basal level)." Could you explain what this means? Hi, I had a mammogram Aug 27th which that the small node I have had for years has grown. Two days later I had an ultrasound that shows a hypoechoic structure deep within the chest wall and has a hyperechoic notch to it with an appeappearance of a benign lymph node but does not correlate with the position of the mammogram. Given the findings of this ultrasound and enlargemnt of the density on the mammogram biopsy is recommended. My question is would you take it out completely?

Has anyone's partner had sperm chromatin structure analysis (SCSA) to test for fragmented sperm dna? My RE just suggested it. He said it can contribute to infertility even if the sperm analysis is normal. He also said it could contribute to chemical pregnancies and miscarriages. Wish he'd told me that sooner...
I have had numerous EKGs Echo and holter not to mention blood test to check my thyroid and anemia. I am not sure which direction to go in because the structure of my heart seems to be ok. I also have costrocondritis (inflamation of the rib cage). I am wonedering if there is anything dangerous about my arrythmias if my heart is healthy? Can it be chemical or hormonal?

This isn't what you probably want to hear, but if I were you, I'd talk to my doctor about it.
It will only help in that it might improve your immune system (very liver protective) and give you more energy (lots of nutrients, B12, and chlorophyll, which has a similar chemical structure to hemoglobin and should in that way improve your overall health without directly boosting your immune system, which would be risky when you have an autoimmune disorder such as Graves.
