Also, Avoid alcohol, or drink a minimal amount, as the combination of Aggrenox and alcohol could cause stomach bleeding.

The result showed "evidence of mild, small to medium size, irreversible perfusion defect in the inferior/inferolateral wall (mid to basal level)." Could you explain what this means? False positive scanning may be caused by signal attenuation from an elevated left hemidiaphragm or from breast tissue. These artifactual defects can be identified by performing a gated perfusion study to assess regional wall motion.
Avatar f tn You could try pre-medicating with ventolin or a similar drug to see if that helps you enough to be able to tolerate the environment. There is unforunately no antidote or anything that will make you less senstive to the smell. Medicating before entering or switching churches would be your options. Stains constantly give off a bit of smell just because of the material they are made of, you probably are just more sensitive to it than others.

Findings are: Peak stress images revealed hypoperfused infero-septal and apical segment, which showed reversal at rest. Avatar f tn The down side to Pradaxa is that there is no known antidote to reverse the effects...like vitamin K that is the antidote to reverse Warfarin. You are correct in your statement about the convenience of not needing periodic INR testing. Like everything...there are pros and con's to just about everything there is.

Avatar m tn My cardiologist told me it is expensive and has no antidote. With Coumadin, in the even tof an emergency, you can be given Vitamin K or plasma. I have been on Coumadin 2-1/2 years and check my INR at home. I have not had any problems with it. I do have to keep my vitamin K intake consistent and many medicines interact with coumadin. Though the drugs of choice for a lupus anticoagulant are heparin and warfarin (coumadin), Plavix may be administered additionally to prevent arterial thrombotic episodes. Aggrenox has the same action as Coumadin.
