Common Questions and Answers about Digitek prescription

digitek

390388 tn?1279636213 My wife tried to fill my prescription for Digitek today and couldn't because of the recall. The pharmacists checked to see if there was a alternative. Unfortunately the drug used in place of Digitek is manufactured by the same company and has been recalled too. He went so far as to call my cardiologist which I am scheduled to see today anyway and now I have to have the blood test to check for toxicity levels of Digoxin. Not a big deal in the end but it makes one wonder sometimes.
Avatar n tn None of this explains what happened to me. They were asking about all of his medicine and he was on the digitek and had to take some of his medicine back up to the pharmacy with like 10 pills left. I am very lost in what happened with him and would just like some closure on why he detriated so quickly. If you can be of any assistance I would greatly appreciate it!! Thanks, sweetredt!!
Avatar f tn Lanoxin has not been recalled.... digitek was recalled..
Avatar f tn As Toprol also reduces blood pressure and I have low blood pressure as it is, I started having dizziness and nausea. He then put me on Digitek, which has since been recalled and I havebeen on 0.25 mg of digoxin for about 2 months. I recently started to have cramps, abnormal bowel movements and I feel very exhausted. The doctor reduced the dosage to .125 mg and on the first day I felt better until about 6PM and then the cramps started again.
Avatar n tn I did have a chest infection about one-month before my last heart episode. Did you also hear about the Digitek recall and that problem? I stopped taking it the week my breathing problem stopped?
Avatar n tn She is on various meds for this.,,coumadin, digitek, metoprolol.... She still has trouble breathing. Does not want to go on oxygen. Would moving to sea level help her? If we did a trial test, how long would it take to tell if it is helping?

Avatar n tn his DR had him on Digitek and lasix for a while saying it was CHF. He got really sick last saturday and we took him to the ER. They found he was in A-FIB and they did a few tests. (he looked pale) They admitted him and after a cardiologist came in and listened to him they said he had a Valve leak and murmur. The did a Heart Catherization and found their were no clogged arteried, but he has Mitral Valve regurgitation. They said it's pretty severe.
Avatar n tn 25 with bad breathing problems, had an electro-cardioversion that brought me back to normal sinus rythem, normal breathing and again EF back up to 40% in 1-month continued on with Coreg and Digoxin for 9-months, came off the coreg and continued taking the Digitek only.
Avatar f tn I posted before about how my myopia prescription recently increased quite significantly, and how my doctor said it might have been due to the fact that I didn't wear my glasses all the time for a while(my lens got cracked). Now my new Rx is quit high, -7.5 and -8.5. I have a contacts Rx of -6 in each eye and see 20/20 or better with them, but I can't keep them on all the time because my eyes get very dry.
Avatar f tn I would like to order from Zenni online as I am on social security but I must make sure my prescription is correct. I got bifocals from Americas best last year which are fine using this script: OD SPH+25 / CYL -75 / AXIS 145 / ADD +2.50......OS SPH +25 / CYL -75 / AXIS 012 / ADD + 2.50. In June of this year I went to my opthalmologist for my biannual checkup and was handed this prescription (I was told there was hardly any difference, but they sure write it differently)....OD SPH -0.
Avatar n tn Then, even though the BPH questionnaire showed me to be nowhere near having it, the urologist wrote me a prescription for Finasteride. I have searched all over the web and several medical and medication reference books at the library and can find not a single place where it says that Finasteride has anything to do with the problem of blood in the semen. All I have read points to Finasteride lessening the symptoms of BPH, symptoms I do not have.
