Well following Wed I was in tears when urinating from the urine touching my skin and knew I also had a uti. Went to hospital and doc said I had an std but had to wait 2 days. Diflucan has never worked for me, so the next visit they gave me Gynazole 1, and a prescription for another Gynazole 1 if the yeast persisted. It did so i applied it then I applied various otc suppositories and I finally got rid of the yeast but developed BV. I went to a doctor and he gave me antibiotics that are usually given to treat trich even though I didn't have trich.
We got my boyfriend a diflucan to take but it didnt seem to help. what can i do to stop these other than stopping oral sex completely.

I used it for a week, maybe improved condition slightly, no major relief. I called him back, he prescribed me Diflucan, 3 pills, to take 3 days apart, at 200mgs a piece. By this point in time I was also noticing horrible itching and discomfort not only in my penis but also my scrotum and rectum. The diflucan seemed to really help my rectum but that spot on my penis it persisted. I began to use micronazole instead of the lotrisone, just to switch it up.
It also has some anti-candida effect, and it says when combined with fluconazole (Diflucan), it works well on Diflucan strains of the yeast.
I hadn't heard of taking Xylitol, although I have taken Stevia in the past. I felt a bit crummier for the first month of taking Stevia. Later I read that Eva Sapi had seen it kill some spirochetes and cysts in the lab. I figured the extra fatigue and brain fog I had was the die off. After that eased up, it didn't seem to benefit me anymore.

Now, I am on Diflucan 150 once every week x 10 weeks. I was also given Kenacomb Cream (Centacomb Cream). Once the cream was applied on the affected area, it quickly restores the skin color to normal though it is still a bit red and itchy. I found that once the skin was applied cream, the inner labium has less itchy and painful sensation. However, once i didn't apply the cream, the private area and the skin turns red and got extremely itchy and painful.
Could this cause a yeast infection so bad that Diflucan is not working? I now have to go to a specialist. Im a hypochondriac but I just wan to know what's wrong with me already! Please help! If this infact just yeast why won't it go away!? And how will the specialists get it to go away since the the Diflucan isn't working. I've also taken flagyl which says no trich and no vaganoisis please help?

Tetracyclines have been considered the first line of treatment for ureaplasma infection but in some cases antibiotic resistance has developed. Other drugs are Erythromycin and Azithromycin. You can discuss these treatment options with your urologist.

So yesterday I took one dose of diflucan which is an antibiotic when I looked up the interactions it said it has a major reaction with xanax... its been over 12 hours since I took the diflucan... does anyone know if I can start taking my xanax now.
since then i have been to my gyno who cultured my yeast infection and said best medication for it was diflucan, so he also prescribed me to diflucan for 7 days-never went away. then he again prescribed me diflucan 150 once for 3 weeks. never went away!!!
this is my first yeast infection so i dont know why diflucan will not cure me. i am 22 years old, smoke and drink on the weekends, work out regularly, work nights, recently pretty stressed.
I have had 6 rounds of diflucan to no avail. My urology dr is at a loss. Should I be seeing an infectious disease dr at this point? When I take diflucan I feel better quickly. Once I stop within a few days I feel terrible again. They prescribe diflucan for 14 days. Had it 6 x’s. Always comes back. No bacteria grows in urine. m currently treating a vaginal yeast infection and was wondering what your experiences were with Diflucan? How long does a typical yeast infection last? The itching and burning have subsided, and I took my first diflucan pill Sunday (doc gave me 4). I'm also using Vagisil for itching and irritated skin! Thanks!
I took an std test for chlamydia and gonnorea and they both came back negative but the doctor gave diflucan thinking it might be a yeast infection. It worked for about a week and then the burning came back. The doctor then gave me doxycycline( 10 days 2 pills easch day) and said that this should work. It works a little but he said it might take a week and its been six days. I have a couple of questions.

question ladies...i took my diflucan pill on monday, but i wanted to know is a white discharge a side effect of the pill? i have taking diflucan multiple times before, but i never bothered those times to actually look and see what was going on down there. this time i did and it seems like a white discharge is coming out...someone told me that was the yeast mixing w/the medicine coming out. is that true?
Hi...candida is yeast and it can cause all types of issues...DIFLUCAN is one of the best meds I know to help rid someone of excess yeast. There r also diet changes that can also help.....
I am prone to yeast infections when taking antibiotics, and DIFLUCAN is the only thing that helps.
As far as dosage, sorry I can not help...I would suggest asking a Pharmacist as they know meds and interaction and reactions better then most drs.
