I've taken 2 Diflucan tablets one one friday and one on Saturday. Monday i started bleeding my period is not due for another week.
i have on going nausea and undergoing tests for gallbladder problems. I ws perescribed lansoprazole which worked instantly. however after over 2 weeks of no nausea and feeling great the nause has returned....has anyone any words of advice and what i can do to reduce it? my blood levels all came bck clear except for the pancreas one??? which shows levels of 130 as opposed to recommened 100.
There are some very good treatments for it. One of the best is diflucan. Given your history, I would be worried that your cancer might be returning.
If you were my patient, I would remove that ovarian cyst. It is quite likely to twist and cause pain. I would also encourage you to consider birth control pills to help with the heavy periods and pain.
I'm not too sure what to make of the shoulder pain--it is possible that you have endometriosis.
I went to the doctor ten days ago with horrible nausea & after confirming the pregnancy (9 weeks now) I was put on a dissolving tablet so I could eat & drink again, yay, but he also said I had an infection probably a uti from being so dehydrated, so I was also prescribed an antibiotic. Today was the last day of it & it burns more now when I pee then it did before!
that it could be hard to tell what caused that, and gave me a course of Zithromax and some more Diflucan. Neither of these are helping. What on earth could this be? I am worried about taking so many antibiotics since I'm prone to yeast.
My stomach right now feels burning, VERY inflammed, nausea, distended, gassy, gurling. Mentally i feel anxious, restless and nervous. I also know that everytime my stomach gets like this it intesifys my anxiety, but when its back to normal, i deal with my anxiety and other stresses just fine. Please if anyone knows what this is, please reply. I am very scared. I do not know anyone in my fam or friends that ever gets this THIS BAD.
So yesterday I took one dose of diflucan which is an antibiotic when I looked up the interactions it said it has a major reaction with xanax... its been over 12 hours since I took the diflucan... does anyone know if I can start taking my xanax now.
since then i have been to my gyno who cultured my yeast infection and said best medication for it was diflucan, so he also prescribed me to diflucan for 7 days-never went away. then he again prescribed me diflucan 150 once for 3 weeks. never went away!!!
this is my first yeast infection so i dont know why diflucan will not cure me. i am 22 years old, smoke and drink on the weekends, work out regularly, work nights, recently pretty stressed.
I have had 6 rounds of diflucan to no avail. My urology dr is at a loss. Should I be seeing an infectious disease dr at this point? When I take diflucan I feel better quickly. m currently treating a vaginal yeast infection and was wondering what your experiences were with Diflucan? How long does a typical yeast infection last? The itching and burning have subsided, and I took my first diflucan pill Sunday (doc gave me 4). I'm also using Vagisil for itching and irritated skin! Thanks!
I took an std test for chlamydia and gonnorea and they both came back negative but the doctor gave diflucan thinking it might be a yeast infection. It worked for about a week and then the burning came back. The doctor then gave me doxycycline( 10 days 2 pills easch day) and said that this should work. It works a little but he said it might take a week and its been six days. I have a couple of questions.

question ladies...i took my diflucan pill on monday, but i wanted to know is a white discharge a side effect of the pill? i have taking diflucan multiple times before, but i never bothered those times to actually look and see what was going on down there. this time i did and it seems like a white discharge is coming out...someone told me that was the yeast mixing w/the medicine coming out. is that true?
Hi...candida is yeast and it can cause all types of issues...DIFLUCAN is one of the best meds I know to help rid someone of excess yeast. There r also diet changes that can also help.....
I am prone to yeast infections when taking antibiotics, and DIFLUCAN is the only thing that helps.
As far as dosage, sorry I can not help...I would suggest asking a Pharmacist as they know meds and interaction and reactions better then most drs.

I thought I was having a yeast infection and took diflucan 10 days ago which majorly lessened symptoms. The symptoms never went away fully so my doc called in another diflucan today. I decided to take a look with a magnifying mirror and saw what looked to possibly be a few very small lesions just under the clitoris they are not painful to the touch and look exactly the same as they did ten days ago.
I have had intense vaginal itching for a couple of weeks now. I went to my gyno and she said I definitely had a yeast infection and gave me 2 Diflucan. I've taken both, and I STILL have this intense itch. It doesn't last all day, but comes in bouts and it's driving me crazy! There's no odor, and I'm guessing some slight discharge, but I'm not understanding why the Diflucan wouldn't help.
nausea, tightness, sometimes bitterness in tongue, pain like feeling in esophagus,etc. Again the doctor did an endoscopy last month, this time the results are the same: mild erosive esophagitis and candidiasis in lower esophagus. Did a urine test for STDs (chlamydia, gonnehrea) all negative. He prescribed Diflucan and gave me 2 pills. I took the first one and the symptoms got a lot better. Then (my thought is it wasn't fully healed) after sex it returned. So I took another Diflucan, everything seemed cool.
Then I got a really bad cold and was prescribed a Z pack. Surprise! Yeast was back. So I went to the doctor and this time they did a "wet mount" turns out I had BV and Yeast together.
