BTW, I am doing better on 1/2 of a 25 mg. Atenolol at night and nothing thru the day. My heart rate is up a little and I am not used to that, so I'm feeling a little hyper. I am hoping it will level out and I will feel more energetic. My dizzy spells are also less.

The GP gave me a RX for Diflucan. I took that much earlier tonite. I just happened to read the Prescription info sheet & it has Xanax as an interacting drug but it doesnt say how. I tried googling and cant see why it shouldnt be taken.. I did see where under Xanax it says one of the drugs to avoid is Diflucan. Why would an antifungal med interact with a sedative? Now im all worried bc i cant call the pharmacy until they open in the am. Does anyone know what interaction this might be?

I went to doctors they gave me Diflucan for two weeks I'm on day 4 and still have symptoms only thing it helping is my tongue getting pinker but my vagina still has lots of discharge and have a lump on inner lips down there from yeast doc says but the bump from vagina different looking from bumps on rectum. If I were you I would leave the dosage issue alone. I trusted my clinic nurses fully, there not gonna do anything that would chance you failing tx. As far as the blue bombers go, just keeping up with taking all those a day and keeping the count right is like a small job in itself.lol One thing I've read about in your case is not being able to get blood test results. I was always able to get mine whenever I asked.

I took the Diflucan. Day 5 i got my period. What do i do now?? And can i re-fill my Diflucan to take when i am thru with the antibiotic?? And really no tampons?? at all??

Yeast newhere indicates an imbalance....so, the DIFLUCAN should help...I am glad u were RX'd it....but, sometimes it takes more than what they first give u to combat this issue...can could be y u got 2 weeks of it...it is normally a 1 pill dosage. I do not know enuff to say if ur nexium could have contributed to the yeast...., I would ask if u have a yeast or bladder infection issue...have u had them in the past?..Sometimes we never fully get rid of them and they spread.

It sounds as though it could possibly be herpes? You could google herpes and see what they look like and compare to what you have. Have you been to an obgyn? I would definitely suggest that. If it was a yeast infection the diflucan and creams should have worked. I"ve never heard of open sores with a yeast infection. I hope you start to feel better soon. I know it must be very painful. So yesterday I took one dose of diflucan which is an antibiotic when I looked up the interactions it said it has a major reaction with xanax... its been over 12 hours since I took the diflucan... does anyone know if I can start taking my xanax now.

since then i have been to my gyno who cultured my yeast infection and said best medication for it was diflucan, so he also prescribed me to diflucan for 7 days-never went away. then he again prescribed me diflucan 150 once for 3 weeks. never went away!!! this is my first yeast infection so i dont know why diflucan will not cure me. i am 22 years old, smoke and drink on the weekends, work out regularly, work nights, recently pretty stressed.
