Diflucan and sun exposure

Common Questions and Answers about Diflucan and sun exposure

diflucan

20797525 tn?1510602613 I have had candida for a little over a year now. It all started with strep throat that I required penicillin to combat. Penicillin helped but never fully eliminated the problem. I began to notice a lot of itching underneath my left arm. A few times I would put deodorant on and it would sting to high heaven. Then I noticed that classic yeast smell. I tried all types of treatments with no result, relief or answers.
Avatar n tn Hi, Are you talking about a malignant nodule in the lung? The exposure from the sun will place you at risk for cancers of the skin. While there are cancers of the skin that would have a tendency to metastasize the lung (melanoma), these would usually have a preliminary finding in the skin.
149675 tn?1416673133 I was on tx. during the katrina nightmare, heat and sun exposure gave me the worst rash and caused a tremendous amount of itching. Stay out of the sun and heat while on tx.
18966962 tn?1472601945 I took an STD test for chlymedia/gonorrhea 8 days after exposure and came back negative. I am waiting to do full STD panel at 3 months. I do not believe it is herpes as I have had no sores, just red skin which gets really lumpy and red after ejaculation. starting 1 week after symptoms 1. Apply Lotrimin ultra to area twice a day 2. 1 week later 1 150 mg diflucan (looked slightly better afterwards but didnt go away) 3.
Avatar n tn I have been prescribed Nystatin rinse with little or no effect, and Diflucan 200mg first day and 100mg for six following days. All no resolution. I have had three HIV tests August 11, 2008, August 29, 2008 and October 10, 2008 all negative. I did take a course of antibiotics for three weeks in mid-August to early September including Doxycycline. Two questions, is it typical for oral candidiasis to be tough to clear up?
Avatar m tn I am very active outdoors and would hate to have to stay out of the sun. I use sun screens and still I get this condition.
Avatar f tn actually sun is very beneficial to both you and baby, you need around 20 min of exposure to the sun everyday on your arms and legs, a little more if your dark skinned, your body gets its vitamin D from being exposed to the sun, otherwise you risk having vit D deficiency which isnt good, and you end up by having to take suppliments, just be sure that you dont go out in the hottest part of the day and if you do put on sunscreen :)
Avatar m tn ve been tested for everything else under the sun as far as STDs go, my paranoid mind has set itself on herpes and I can't shake the thought. My discharge at this point is clear, but with white chunks in it. I don't know how normal that is for me because to be honest I never really paid any attention before. There are no lesions. Anywhere. Absolutely none (I've looked obsessively for a month). Not even really any red/irritated looking areas that I can see.

Avatar m tn It is possible that you have/had sun poisioning. Any antibiotics will add to the harsh exposure of the sun. That is why they tell you to try to avoid the sun if you can or use a high level of sunscreen if you are out in the sun. If you are not feeling better soon, you should see your doctor. Please be careful while in the sun while on these medications. It can cause some major symptoms not to mention the higher risk of sun burn. Hope you feel better soon.
Avatar n tn The bleeding was light for the first week and very heavy for the last two weeks. I went to see an OBGYN and she took a simple and blood work...I have very painful and tender womb now still bleeding and awaiting the lab results. Please any advice is greatly appreciated.
Avatar m tn I had hep b core, igm tests done 13 weeks, 7 months, and 8 months after exposure. All of which came back negative, but I had a slightly high ALT level on a cbc at 50ml/unit 7 months after exposure and a couple of weeks after taking diflucan. Doctor said it could've been from taking 3 days of diflucan, but I'm concerned that these tests maybe false negatives. Does anyone know of this type of test and accuracy or time window for them.
Avatar f tn We are heading to Florida in two days and will be out in the sun alot. I wear sunscreen but am just curious if sun exposure will affect my scar. It seems like I read somewhere on there that it would by making it darker or taking it longer to heal? Please let me know what you guys know about this. I don't want to do anything that will extend the time it takes my scar to heal or something that makes it heal darker. Thanks guys!
Avatar m tn I have very fair skin and fair hair, whenever I'm out in the sun for a long period of time I seem to get sun poisoning even when I use sun block. Should I be concerned?
Avatar f tn t want to have it exposed to the sun for long periods of time and would want to avoid sun exposure.Scars are particularly sensitive to sunlight and can sunburn faster than healthy skin, according to the American Academy of Dermatology. Once a scar becomes sunburned, it can remain discolored or darkened and may not fade back to match the color of your healthy skin. For that reason, you would want to avoid the sun, wear protective clothing, and wear sun screen to protect your scar/skin.
Avatar f tn Last year I believe I developed a sun allergy, after prolonged exposure to the sun I would get itchy red bumps in the evening and the next day they would be gone. As of this year I have been in the sun and have experience nothing. I was wonder if I spent some time in a tanning bed would I break out in the red bumps like the sun exposure? Not that I am interested in tanning I am just curious if it would have the same effect as the sun on my skin? thanks!
Avatar f tn I did 6 weeks test and 12 weeks and the last one was after 5 month of possible exposure. The pain not there constantly it come once a week and it wears off later on the day.
620923 tn?1452915648 This sensitivity makes it very easy for scars to get sunburned, which can cause them to turn brown and become more noticeable.. Sun exposure not only discolors scars, but it can also cause the tissue to thicken. Both of these effects make a scar more conspicuous and more difficult to treat in the future.
