diflucan and die off

The bleeding was light for the first week and very heavy for the last two weeks. I went to see an OBGYN and she took a simple and blood work...I have very painful and tender womb now still bleeding and awaiting the lab results. Please any advice is greatly appreciated.

The main thing I am wanting to know is what was used, for how long, in what dosage and what the die-off effects were. We are looking at S. Boulardi, Nystatin, Diflucan as our main options. Thank you for any help.

Hello! I am a 23 yr old female with hypothyroidism, CFS, chronic EBV, and chronic sinusitis. I've been feeling really badly for the past 3 months and my doctor has just decided to treat me for possible yeast overgrowth based on the recurring sinusitis, vaginal infections, white tongue,etc that I have.

I took the Diflucan. Day 5 i got my period. What do i do now?? And can i re-fill my Diflucan to take when i am thru with the antibiotic?? And really no tampons?? at all??

Later I read that Eva Sapi had seen it kill some spirochetes and cysts in the lab. I figured the extra fatigue and brain fog I had was the die off. After that eased up, it didn't seem to benefit me anymore. It seemed to have a short effectiveness. At this point, I'm open to trying anything that is unlikely to hurt me, and has a chance of helping me.

She recommended a gyn doctor that is good with diseases but he is no longer at the hospital she sent me too. I am constantly getting creams and diflucan for the yeast infections. I feel that my gyn is not meeting my need. I do not want to live on the creams and diflucan. I heard about a gyn on the radio that I would like to go to. I will make an appointment with her. I never took diflucan long term. I will get two diflucans at one time.

thank you so much, today i didnt have such a headche im starting to think that perhaps a candids infection is causing my anxiousness, my doc gave me diflucan generic, i have been taking proboitics and also yogurt and working out and the pain in my stomach i use to have is going away and even some of the anxiousness.

Did a urine test for STDs (chlamydia, gonnehrea) all negative. He prescribed Diflucan and gave me 2 pills. I took the first one and the symptoms got a lot better. Then (my thought is it wasn't fully healed) after sex it returned. So I took another Diflucan, everything seemed cool. Then I got a really bad cold and was prescribed a Z pack. Surprise! Yeast was back. So I went to the doctor and this time they did a "wet mount" turns out I had BV and Yeast together.

I went to urgent care for treatment and was given diflucan and it didnt put a dent in it, so I went back. I was given more diflucan and it didnt do anything. I waited to see a gynocologist and had a pap smear and STD test, went back for an HPV screen. I was negative for it all and was given diflucan by her as well. I went back to her a second time and she gave me a cream for a yeast infection after admitting she didnt see signs for one and didnt know why I would be burning.

The doctor said the antibiotics killed off the good AND bad bacteria in my stomach leaving me vulnerable to contracting this yeast infection, even on my penis head. Does this sound unusual, just kinda looking for opinions! He told me to take Diflucan once to re stabilize my digestive system and take acidopholus once daily. He also directed me to buy monstat topical cream to apply three times a day and selsun blue to apply once daily for 20 minutes, wow!

Major pain. Went to urgent care diagnosed with a UTI. Dr gave Cipro, diflucan and AZO. After 3 days they called to say my culture results showed Cipro wasn't the correct meds. Micro bid was the new med. I've had lower abdomen pain since off and on. Is it not working? Do I have a major case of yeast? I took another diflucan thinking it could be yeast pain. Weird pain.....

Every now and then I get this pain on my left side of my tongue but it disappears the next day. I keep brushing off the yellow junk and they keep coming back. However, I’m a smoker and drink coffee everyday but never had this before. Any help of what it could be and how I can get rid off it. Its just annoying. Thank you very much for your attention.

I've been posting more than normal as my conditions have gone backwards in recent weeks. My apologizes for so many questions, but I am really getting "out there" with all this. Bottom line: Have been taking Bicillin shots for about 6 months. Took Nystatin with it when first started then stopped Nystatin. Kept getting shots. Now I have nausea, dizziness, fatigue and anxiety with some depression, especially when I wake in the morning.

Just a FYI- the antibiotics they may put u on can cause a flare of the reflux...and it can also kill off all the good bacteria u need causing the flare...ask about DIFLUCAN to avoid a yeast issue and a probiotic to balance out ur system.

but came back earlier this year since then iv tried Nystrain, Lamisal, Canisten, more OTC cream.. diflucan and I just cant keep it away the creams make it die down alittle but it still hurts and I still get a discharge.. Im uncircumcised and I do find it hard to keep it dry.. I was wondering if someone can help me or am I screwed for life I am only 19 and this bugs me every second.

if you have done treatments and it hasnt gotten any better i would go to a dr and get them to check it out, it could be something else. And maybe they can give you something for it.

t adequately lubricated. My OB/GYN prescribed me with Diflucan, I took the dosage and it was gone. We had sex again, yeast infection came back, got another prescription, gone again. Had sex again, it came back AGAIN but this time I went to a different OB/GYN to get a second opinion. Turns out this time I had a yeast infection AND bacterial vaginosis. At this time I went and got tested to make sure I didn't have anything and I came back all negative.

Im currently on diflucan! Just got off of prednisone and levoflaxin! With the diflucan, how long until hair grew back? Or stopped falling out? Running out of hair...

If you can't wipe it off, it most likely isn't thrush. Especially since all the antifungals don't work. I would recommend seeing a dentist to find out what it is. Does the white patches changes in size and shape? It may be geographic tongue. Any symptoms?

They said it was all negative and sent me home. Well I went to my gyno Tuesday and she checked me for yeast and said I had a horrible yeast infection that I had to have for months. But I've taken Diflucan many times and it didn't go away well she gave me three doses of Diflucan and a vaginal suppository with a weeks dose. I've taken it all and it refuses to go away. Can any one help? What's wrong with me?

d start eating yogurt right away and look for a good probiotic supplement. Antibiotics were introduced in your system and killed off the good and bad bacteria that keeps yeast infections in check. Probiotics help your body restore the good bacteria so that your body can once again control the infection. Can circumvent the need for the antifungal in many cases :-) I hope you find relief soon!!! I have had candida for a little over a year now. It all started with strep throat that I required penicillin to combat. Penicillin helped but never fully eliminated the problem. One week ago I took the diflucan and now I have a sore by my peritoneum, I am so scared because I dont want to have genital herpes. I never had this happen before. When I had the yeast infection it was very bad and my vagina and by my anus was very itcy, red and sore. I am still having a little discharge but the itching is gone. I think that the sore came from the yeast infection. Do you have any insight on this.
