diflucan and acidophilus

She prescribed more terzol and i am going to start my period so I have now taken 4 more diflucan but alls it does is help with the burning. I am tempted to try monistat again while on my period. I can not take this any more. What can i do? I am taking Acidophilis (spelling?) Please tell me how i can get rid of this I got this from taking Tindamaz. Thanks in advance.

Need to rant lol I'm so frustrated! In the beginning of my pregnancy, I was diagnosed with bv, and was treated for it...and ever since I got treated I've gotten yeast infections every few weeks...today I was diagnosed with chronic yeast and put on a new med to help it...if that doesnt work, she's going to put me on diflucan for a couple weeks...its been so rough! This is my 4th one in 20 weeks and I'm so sick of them...

I have been on birth control for over a year, and my doctor put me on diflucan and a pH balancer and nothing seems to be clearing up. What do you think it is?

Hello! I really hope someone can help. I went to the doctor yesterday and they did a wet prep and results are in, but they never called back and may not till tomorrow! I'm so stressed over this. Last Wedesday, I went to the GYN to discuss some minor itching I tend to have around my period. I had no odor or discharge. Acidophilus supplements or eating yogurt containing L. Acidophilus can help prevent thrush and chronic yeast infections. Eating lots of sugary things can exacerbate the condition.

Never went away, until I started my Lyme meds, a few months ago. Only took 2-3 weeks, after starting the meds and my nail was healed and didn't come back, until last week. I can't take the meds for fungus. Lamasil was one of those meds. Nothing I did for fungus worked. Even tried Mentholatum, but it turned the black to a yucky green and looked like moss. Used that procedure daily for months, but didn't work. This is why I'm thinking it could be Lyme related.

I have had it twice during my pregnancy and I do all the same things as you. I actually used Canestan 6 day treatment and would use the cream for the outside every day for a little bit after symptoms were gone just to make sure. ask for DIFLUCAN while on an antibiotic as it will help prevent the yeast issue-hence no UTI....it happened to me all the time, I now get the DIFLUCAN and have not had an issue since. It sounds like u have a yeast issue...many meds feed it, so do ask ur dr about this and always ask for DIFLUCAN while getting a rx for an antibiotic.

The bleeding was light for the first week and very heavy for the last two weeks. I went to see an OBGYN and she took a simple and blood work...I have very painful and tender womb now still bleeding and awaiting the lab results. Please any advice is greatly appreciated.

A couple of weeks ago I started having symptoms that felt like a yeast infection coming. After 2 days I took a diflucan (fluconazole) and 4 days I developed a bump right below/in my clitoris! It really hurt! The pain subsided after 2 days. Two weeks later I swear the bump is still there but doesn't feel like anything. Yes I went today and doc checked out and cultured it. It is definitely a yeast infection on diflucan and inserting monistat 7 and taking lactobicillus acidophilus. Also soaking in epsom salt to relieve itching soreness and swelling.
