Since I turned 25, I started getting pimples here and there. The acne worsened throughout the year into cystic acne on the cheeks when I moved overseas. I lived overseas for a year, then moved back to the states, where all my acne disappeared for two months. It returned again slowly, starting out with a small rash (which went away with Desonide Cream .05%), then milia/whiteheads all over my cheeks, and then red pimples with white pus spreading from my cheeks to my chin now.
It has now been three weeks post-accutane, and I am starting to get more and more whiteheads. Not the big inflamed whiteheads I used to get but it looks like things are returning. My dermatologist prescribed retin a micro. I was really hoping accutane would finally be the answer and am reluctant to start another treatment that is said to cause initial breakouts and red, irritated, and peeling skin.
I will be sure to have my face clear of whiteheads before bed and EVERY morning, I wake up with at least 2 or 3 new ones. When I leave my house for work during the day, no whiteheads, but by the time I get home another 2 or 3 on my face. I do not use heavy makeups, and all of my products are oil-free and non comedogenic.
I started using Differin in May, but I now realize Differin also contains Adapalene. Should I be worried about sun exposure while using Differin/adapaline? I noticed the container says not to use it on sunburns, but nothing about not using it in the sun.
I use the cream at night, but I also realize that it's a long term treatment... and as such just because I use it at night, does not mean the sensitivity is gone in the morning/day.

Ok so I have been prescribed differin gel for "acne" problems. I recently had a huge one with deep cyst (when i touch it i can feel hardness under the skin)...then it formed a white head and oozed a lot of pus (and some blood) after which it stopped being painful. My question is can I still keep on applying differin gel on top of the acne even though it's "broken" skin? The differin seems to help calm the inflammation pretty quick and dry it out...
ive got whiteheads under the foreskin on my penis. they've been there for ages now i wash it twice a day ive scrubbed them but i cant pop them because it stings too bad is there anything else i can try or are they just going to be there for ever?
The areas start out very much like a hive (red, blotchy, extremely itchy skin), but, unlike hives, end up leaving a red papule with the occasional white center that stick around for days to weeks. To provide some context, this all started after seeking treatment for mild acne (whiteheads on my forehead and extremely oily skin) about 3 years ago. The dermatologist I saw then prescribed Ziana gel, which worked relatively well (never completely cleared the whitehead problem, though it helped).
he said since i been taking minocycline 100 mg daily for 2 years and using the retin a micro 0.1% for 2 years and im still breaking out i should try something new like it may be wearing off....he put me on oracea 40mg once a day and differin gel 0.3%....i was reading the paper that comes with oracea~doxycycline and it says it doesnt kill bacteria now im getting worried because minocycline does kill bacteria now im worried i will break out more from the oracea.
I got Differin from the doctor and used it for 6 months with no results. Is he to young to start to serious ritual? He is adopted and his birth mom has very serious acne. He is very worried about all these pimples. He started getting them at nine. The doctor told me they aren't really acne but I forgot what he called them so I could look them up.
Eight years ago I had a rash around my lip that I treated with a steroid cream, which then caused Perioral Dermatitis. My dermatologist gave my minocyline for 1 month and metro cream which completely cleared it up. Three months ago the dermatitis came back, I was not using any steriod cream at the time, but I believe it flared because of a new concealer I was using to cover a little redness around my nose.
Hi, I have a problem thats seems to have me worried. I have these small whiteheads on the base and pubic hair region. I recently developed these whiteheads; before they were never there. They dont hurt or anything but for me its just an unpleasant sight. I do shave my pubic area occasionally and im not sure if its from my razor irritating my skin thus causing whiteheads or what.

ve had for weeks now. I went to my dermatologist and because there were several whiteheads on my neck he didnt even take a second look and told me it was acne. I'm pretty sure its not acne though.
A couple of weeks ago I had patches of bumps on both side of my neck (left and right side only and clear in the middle) these bumps were irritating (my skin felt tight) but it was skin colored and barely noticeable so I didn't do anything about it.

Ok so I have a couple whiteheads on my nipples that have been there, in the same place for as long as I can remember. I pop them often, whenever I wash I pop them and they are just like whiteheads, yet they haven’t gone away in years. I have no clue why it’s now that I’m realizing that this isn’t normal but should I be concerned and just live with nipple whiteheads my whole life??

i also wash face with mild cleanser and apply moisturizer, after apply moisturizer on my nose still becomes more oily. I went to see the dermatologist and he given me the differin cream, differin also make my nose oily and did not stop the oil production,which is also not helping, i very hopeless right now. please help with my oily nose.

First of all I would like to say that my skin has been near perfect all of my life, during my early teens I didn't even have a blemish but for some reason my skin has grey gone down hill.
When I was younger about 16 I had to have testosterone (spelling?) injected because I was underdeveloped and to a certain extent I am now. But during this period of my boost through puberty I didnt have one spot.
hi there i read the comment that people have wrote ta you bout these whiteheads. i have had them 4 ages and i getting worried about them is there anything to put on them at all. Is it due to masterbation or is it a common thing for a boy to have. i dont want to pay for big med treatments like shots or lazer **** because it comes back often enough that it wouldnt be worth it. i would kill for whiteheads and blackheads to be my biggest problem, no joke. the worst is if u accidentally pick at these they scab over and look like raised bullet wounds.
I have had a group of larger growths on my scrotum for the past few years, they seem to be right under the shaft in a line down but there are about 30-40 of them. They do not hurt unless i try to squeeze out whatever is in them then they get sore and turn into a pimple and solid white almost dried up puss will come out. I have never had sex with strangers or un-protected sex with unknown persons, so i know i do not have an std. Curious as to what these might be.
