Ok so I have been prescribed differin gel for "acne" problems. I recently had a huge one with deep cyst (when i touch it i can feel hardness under the skin)...then it formed a white head and oozed a lot of pus (and some blood) after which it stopped being painful. My question is can I still keep on applying differin gel on top of the acne even though it's "broken" skin? The differin seems to help calm the inflammation pretty quick and dry it out...
he said since i been taking minocycline 100 mg daily for 2 years and using the retin a micro 0.1% for 2 years and im still breaking out i should try something new like it may be wearing off....he put me on oracea 40mg once a day and differin gel 0.3%....i was reading the paper that comes with oracea~doxycycline and it says it doesnt kill bacteria now im getting worried because minocycline does kill bacteria now im worried i will break out more from the oracea.
I got Differin from the doctor and used it for 6 months with no results. Is he to young to start to serious ritual? He is adopted and his birth mom has very serious acne. i also wash face with mild cleanser and apply moisturizer, after apply moisturizer on my nose still becomes more oily. I went to see the dermatologist and he given me the differin cream, differin also make my nose oily and did not stop the oil production,which is also not helping, i very hopeless right now. please help with my oily nose.
Since I turned 25, I started getting pimples here and there. The acne worsened throughout the year into cystic acne on the cheeks when I moved overseas. I lived overseas for a year, then moved back to the states, where all my acne disappeared for two months. It returned again slowly, starting out with a small rash (which went away with Desonide Cream .05%), then milia/whiteheads all over my cheeks, and then red pimples with white pus spreading from my cheeks to my chin now.

I have had acne red marks, not scars, that just won't go away. I've had them for about 2 years now and have tried products such as Differin & Atralin with no avail.

When your warts are removed, it is more than likely you will be contagious, just less so than if you had visible warts, as warts bring the virus to the surface of the skin. Most people clear if they have had no symptoms in 6-24 months. There are no tests for HPV, so deciding when you are clear is a guessing game. Use a condom and you are the least likely to infect other people.
No it can only transmit to children through birth and even that is rare.
Hi I've recently been using differin gel, but about a week ago I started breaking out bad and decided to take a week long break from the gel to heal my skin. I was wondering if taking a week long break was a good idea or not?

Hi, I have been using differin every alternate nights for 3 months without problems. But just last sun, I rubbed some onto my eyelids and facial rashes started to explode. They were not itchy at first but started to spread and becoming very itchy. My Gp said its contact dermatitis. But how could it be as I have been using it for 3 months? I put hydrocortisone cream on them but nothing seems to subside. Now my whole face is covered with itchy swell rashes. What should I do?

I have read a ton of the threads on HPV and came across a lot of info saying that the warts would first appear in the non protected area and then can spread to the area that was covered. Are you saying that the warts could make their first appearance on the shaft or the area that was covered? If so why do some sex specialist state that the warts will not appear on the area that was protected by the condom?

I dated a girl for a bit over a month, during which time we had unprotected intercourse. About a week after we broke up she told me she had gone to the gynocolegist who had diagnosed her with genital warts.
