Avatar n tn t think it was anything. I am 25 years old and I am in an extremely stressfull management position which may be contributing to this condition. I have recently been diagnosed with ADHD and I am prescribed Vyvanse. I also am prescribed Alprazolam to help with my twitch, it helps a little but it is still unbarable. I have spent thousands of dollars in the last year & half on doctors, nuerologists, psychologist, counslers, and different types of chiropractors but nothing seems to work.

Know that it will be painful, but that you can do it, and that the pain isn't permenant. Mostly stay relaxed, if you start to stress or tense up it will make the pain worse. Utilize the shower, hot water bottle and movement, do not just lay down, it will make the pain worse.

One back specialist was sure I had a stress fracture, but he couldn't find it in my MRI. I'm confused. Why do I even have to deal with this so young? How do I stop the leg pain once it's there so I can sleep? And how do I prevent it?
Avatar f tn I wanted a natural birth too and I read up and educated myself a lot about different techniques but one that stuck with me and made the most sense was the Bradley Method. It worked for me and I have VERY low pain tolerance! My being stubborn helped me along too I think! Good luck!!

Avatar f tn I'm the same way I'm not going to get any pain meds I have done my research about them and I don't like the fact that doctor's don't really tell you what could go wrong with using them I'm taking child birthing classes to help with breathing techniques and different stretches and things for pain management
Avatar f tn It is most likely a sign of hyperventilation also commonly known as shallow breathing. I had this symptom too. Stop and take several slow deep breaths (10) from your abdomen. You can look up breathing techniques for stress management on line. Don't worry about the tingling sensation. It won't hurt you. You just need to get some more oxygen in your blood stream.

Avatar f tn If the answer is yes, then you do need to seek out the help of a psychologist in order to learn the techniques to use to help yourself get past this irrational thinking that is causing you anxiety. Also, they can help with any stress that you may have at this time in your life. Stress doesn't have to be outward, if that makes sense. Subconsciously we can be stressed and really not be aware of it. You think something isn't bothering you but deep down inside it is.
