I'm fed up up have anxiety attacks and taking it out on my poor fiance by yelling at him. If you are a Christian, casting your cares on the Lord is a big part & reading from or listening to God's Word. Listening to soothing music and doing some deep breathing can be helpful. Avatar m tn Your anxiety is pretty mild, so I would suggest seeing a therapist who specializes in relaxation techniques and breathing exercises and meditation that will help you overcome your worry and breathing issues, but as said above, when you suddenly get odd sensations, it's not a bad idea to see a doc and see if something is going on.

Avatar f tn I enjoyed Lamaze classes because they teach you how to care for your newborn and breastfeeding and swaddling! They teach you tips on breathing too, which I feel really helped me remained calm and breathing when labor pains got bad with my first born.

Avatar f tn t want to prescribe me medication all she offered me was counciling which I never Hurd back from and then informed me about all the different breathing techniques I could do to try keep my self calm (which I already knew how to do). Since then I have changed my GP but shortly after doing so I got the positive test result and I'm still waiting to see a midwife so i can discuss this with her.
