Does anyone know the answer to the question - are there self tanners without DHA ?
m allergic to them all, even those that claim to be DHA-free. Can you suggest any alternatives? I really love having a tan look without the sun damage (I'm very pale without it). Thank you!
Do any of you use self tanners during your pregnancy's? Did you doctor approve a certain brand?

NYGirl is right. There are some really good self-tanning lotions out there that do not streak and have incredible moisturising properties. You could maybe alternate its use with perhaps a more efficacious lotion that meets your skin care needs.
You might have to read a few articles or reviews first since there is definite Pro and Con. Most produce a healthy sheen without changing shade since they are not really "self tanners." Not sure why they are called that

I love fake bake. I buy that and use it pretty regularly. Its pretty pricey. Well I think it is. So I'll use that once or twice maybe 3 times a week but the other days I will use hemp tanning lotion from Walmart. It doesn't give much color but it's also a good moisturizer. All use Banana Boat also the other days I don't use Hemp.
I'm tried sublime golden glow. It has a lot of glitter and a perfume smell.
Banana boat is ok. But I noticed the more you use it goes orange.
Cant du it. it can hurt the baby severly. Look up approved self tanners nd i suggest natural sun for face then.
Has anyone asked their doctors on using sunless tanners? I have a huge celebration coming up and would love to have some color on my legs when I wear this dress. If not, I'll prob wear some panty hose because I'm white as can be.
I would just recommend that to give your baby the best help for development that whichever prenatal you choose (which you can get over the counter, or your doctor could prescribe) just make sure that what you get has DHA in it, it's to aid in brain and eye development, and a lot of doctors recommend this. With an previous ectopic pregnancy, and being early on, it would be beneficial to get the most out of a prenatal, and not all of them contain DHA, but it is a very good thing to have.
