dha in illinois

Okay so my current prenatal vitamin does not have Dha in it...is it possible for me to take a Dha vitamin in conjunction with my prenatal vitamin?...if so what is a good brand to take?

I bought some prenatal vitamins and they came in a pack with DHA vitamins. Does anyone know what they are or if they are ok to take??

im 21 & a ftm. im just looking for girls who are about the same time along in their pregnancy. my husband is army and we're stationed in texas which is hard because my family is in illinois and his in oklahoma my dad is actually gonna be deployed until its time for me to give birth. but anywho i havent been able to see an obgyn yet because of insurance issues because i havent been able to get a military id..

Does ur prenatal vitamins have dha? Is it ok to take them tablets with dha? The one i take doesn't have it but im trying to get gummies to substitute but all gummies seem to have dha.

So i visited a friend today and she looked at my prenatal vitamins that i had with me and was surprised they didn't have dha in them. She gave me some dha vitamins and recommended that i take them and continue to do so. My dr didn't mention dha. Am i alone in this?

The FDA says that it is safer to have DHA from a non fish source. I say the DHA is straight from the fish and not good to take! I would not take it or stop. I take the one Enfimil makes and it is I think $11 a month from Walmart and it is from a none fish source. I would tell your ob you wnat another one if you don't want that one!

DHA is a kind of Omega 3 fatty acid (which is usually DHA+EPA) Omega 3 s are considered really beneficial for our brain and general health..and considered really good for fertility.. they're found in fatty fish or you can take them as supplements..

I dont think mine have dha in them. I take the target generic brand prenatals with this pregnancy and did with my son and he is a happy healthy almost 3 yr old. My original obgyn with my son said any prenatal is fine and my 2nd with this pregnancy agreed but when I had an appt with a midwife she told me only dha prenatals and I needed a natural brand. Who knows?!

I used while pregnant but I stopped now and I was just wondering if in Illinois if they test every new born at birth even if there's so signs of withdrawl in the state of Illinois

I would love an answer to this question too. I had been using Fertility Centers of Illinois in Orland Park, but that doctor doesn't believe enddo affects fertility (SERIOUSLY?!). Now I am seeing Chicago IVF for fertility, but I need pain management too. I had a lap done in October, but I still have pain and last night the pain was really bad.

DHA is in fish oil, and it's for baby's brain development. Some women don't like fish, or won't eat it because they're afraid of the mercury content, but the DHA in capsure form is mercury free, and has a lot of really good benefits for you and baby (if you weren't getting DHA from the pills, or from eating lots of fish, baby would just take the DHA in your body and use that, but you use it too, so you'd be in short supply).

Thank you everybody, the gummies sound good. But I just want to make sure I am getting in everything the baby(ies) need to grow strong. I hate taking pills anf right now I am taking two (prenatal and fish oil).
