My question is do you believe that this is indeed a stomach ulcer? If it is a stomach ulcer then how long would it take for a PPI such as Dexilant to help alleviate the symptoms? Thank you for your time and sorry for the long post.

in the past 8 years i have gotten 1 ulcer on my vulva 4 times. in reading about crohns i found that some men and woman do report genital ulcers. Just wanted to know if this is true and has anyone ever had this symptom.

I am getting desperate Would any of these tests pick up an ulcer if it were this? Could this be cancer? A missed blocked kidney stone? The Er Drs said follow up with my primary care but im afraid it may be too late by the time this is found !!!!

stomach ulcers need to be treated by your gp with anti ulcer drugs, avoid aspirin and any other drugs that can irritate the ulcer, eg, anti inflamatories, ibuprphen etc. my ulcer took months to heal, avoiding certain irriitants did help, spicy food, alcohol, and acid foods such as citrus fruit. i found that sipping milk slowly eases sudden ulcer pain, however dairy products can cause acid build up in the long run, so do take prescribed medicines.

ve seen except for maybe a scaled down case of syphilis? its hard to notice unless u pull the skin apart. lately its starting to resemble an ulcer. I went to planned parenthood last week and was examined. idk if the doc overlooked it(she did not seem too concerened). she said there was nothing abnormal about my area and tested me only for gonorrhea and chlamydia. both came back negative. now that its becoming more noticeable and tingling im becoming nervous.

my luck right. she said she had a mouth ulcer at the time i said you know what F it and i just kissed her deep french kissing was i at risk for hiv. i did nothing else but kiss her but im worried that the ulcer could of gave me a risk.

Okay i have a massive white ulcer in my mouth on the gum behind my bottom row of teeth almost virtically not quite in bottom of the mouth. Treatment pain is NOT a issue for me, when ulcers come i regularly press salt into them, bathe them with vinigar or alcohol these are all extremely painful but dont actually always numb it. Hi I've had an ulcer for around 8weeks now I've been to dentists around 6 different occasions I've been given antibiotcs mouth washes but its still there!dentist said its deffo not cancer but a traumatic ulcer but I'm starting to doubt this as its not shifting!

Gastritis is a more likely scenario. It might not be a bad idea to check with your doc and possibly ask for some testing. You may want to consider asking him to check for the presence of H. pylori, the bacteria that is implicated in causing stomach issues and gastritis.

Hi all, I have been suffering from nausea since mid July this year and the nausea problem just got worse in recent days. In 2013, I had an episode of unexplained nausea. One doctor thought the cause was anxiety and prescribed me seritonin. The nausea disappeared for about a year but has come back this July. I have very severe gag reflex and so I am terribly terrified of doing a stomach endoscopy. Another doctor suggested a barium meal test which was done in September and came back normal.

I went to the opthamologist, and was told that I have corneal ulcer, likely due to a contact lens induced infection caused. The doctor prescribed Zymar -- an antibiotic -- and might have to prescribe a fortified compound if the symptoms don't begin to dissipate. I have a major problem in that the effected eye is now photophobic.
