You need to reduce the dose gradually to avoid physical withdrawal symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, being sick, sleeplessness and nervousness. If you currently have the 75mg tablets ask your doctor for the 37.5mg tablets so you can gradually reduce to 75mg per day, then 37.5mg per day before stopping.

I am a 21 year old male who has been lowering my dose of Venlafaxine slowly, i took it down to 75mg a few months ago and stopped taking them a few days ago... I am still getting those "head shocks".

i started use Desogestrel in december at start when my period came was all fine period was gone after 4 days. january 4th started some lil bleeding and spotting and didnt stopped ever since. like 3 weeks ago i went to my doctor she said lets change to Slynd . but i am still spotting sometimes more sometimes less. my question is if i take a 1 week brake and resume taking pills will stop the spotting ?
Mukta - FSH seems too high definitely. You could try accupuncture for fertility, also people in USA take DHEA tablets, 75mg per day, that drastically brings down the FSH levels.
Try natural herbal supplements like maca tablets, royal jelly, wheatgrass, omega fish oil tablets, take lots of fresh fruits and exercise.

m going thru the same symptoms right now. As I said, I was taking two 75mg tablets daily and I have gotten down to only 1/2 tablet. This has been over the last month. I feel dizzy constantly, have diarrhea, and shake constantly. I don't feel like I'm "at myself"...I have to constantly think about simple, ordinary daily tasks. In fact, as I'm writing this, I'm having to go back and correct mistakes that I wouldn't normally make.

hi, i am taking ethinylestradiol/desogestrel richter 0.02 mg/0.15 mg, and i was supposed to start my 7 day pill free yesterday, but i forgot to, instead i started with my next strip of pill yesterday.. what should i suppose to do? should i stop taking the pill for the next 6 days and i will have my period in days or should i continue taking the pill for another 20 days?

Most of the tablet forms will contain Lactose and Gluten. Some of the extended release capsules do not contain neither Gluten nor Lactose. I had been taking 75mg of levelthyroxine for several months, then started to feel tired, after a blood test my dose was increased to 100mg. After a while I started to have heart palputations and feeling very anxious, I was advised to take 75mg one day and 100 the next. I felt all over the place, one day ok and then feeling tired. My doctor agreed that I could cut up the tablets so I could take the same amount each day.
Now since 2 weeks I also have mucus in my stool and I get very worried. I also take thyroid medication for Hashimoto and Desogestrel all the time for the Endometriosis. It would be great if anyone could help me. I went by the doctor already though they tell me to just eat healthy, which I do since 7 years now.
I ran out of the 1 mg tablets, then took half a 2 Mg bar thinking it would be the same dose. The following morning my room was spinning for two hours, diarrhea, chills, ect. So want to stop this, I have been trying to jump down for 6 months. I know it should be a slow tapper, but have had luck so far getting down. Till 12 weeks my doctor asked me to use metformin 500mg ,duphaston(progestrone tablets)and ecosprin 75mg and folic acid 400mg till 12 weeks.Now I stopped metformin and ecosprin.Now I am on folic acid and iron,calcium tablets only.

I know that the joint pain is degeneration, but I would like to know what treatment will be best without taking pain medication every day. I use Lyrica 75mg, anti malaria tablets, Cortisone and Stilpane on a daily basis as well as Ostobon. It helps a bit, but does not help for the other symptoms. My prescription says 1 at night, 1 in morning. I had started this prescription 2-3 months ago and stopped because they made me very sleepy durng the day. I'm starting again and can already feel the 1 75mg pill taking effect (I had stopped any antidepressants for 3 months but now determined I had better start again). Thank You.
Would Mircette be an option with desogestrel being less angrogenic? Also, any experience with prescribed HALF tab of OC? (ie. instead of Loestrin 1/20.. use 0.5/10 for hormonal imbalance?) Just concerned about initial breakout.
Just some background... I have not used OC previously. I have no family history of breast cancer, no hypertension, non-smoker, and had 2 migraines in the past 5 years.
