we had sex about a week after i changed my pill to the desogestrel pill.
i started use Desogestrel in december at start when my period came was all fine period was gone after 4 days. january 4th started some lil bleeding and spotting and didnt stopped ever since. like 3 weeks ago i went to my doctor she said lets change to Slynd . but i am still spotting sometimes more sometimes less. my question is if i take a 1 week brake and resume taking pills will stop the spotting ?
Tony is correct, if you are in fact breastfeeding you should discuss with your OB/GYN a progestin only pill ( a good example would be NORA-BE TABLET) . If not here are some low dose pills to consider.
hi, i am taking ethinylestradiol/desogestrel richter 0.02 mg/0.15 mg, and i was supposed to start my 7 day pill free yesterday, but i forgot to, instead i started with my next strip of pill yesterday.. what should i suppose to do? should i stop taking the pill for the next 6 days and i will have my period in days or should i continue taking the pill for another 20 days?
Now since 2 weeks I also have mucus in my stool and I get very worried. I also take thyroid medication for Hashimoto and Desogestrel all the time for the Endometriosis. It would be great if anyone could help me. I went by the doctor already though they tell me to just eat healthy, which I do since 7 years now.
Hello, I am on paroxatine 30mg & have been for the past 2 years without any weight gain.
I did suffer with side effects ie for first 2-3 weeks, had NO appetite & felt sick all the time. The only side effect i have now-if i forget to take it i go really dizzy n spaced so i dont forget!
Think about it long n hard hun before you go on anything, im not going to lie i have become reliant on them-im scared to come off it now.
Would Mircette be an option with desogestrel being less angrogenic? Also, any experience with prescribed HALF tab of OC? (ie. instead of Loestrin 1/20.. use 0.5/10 for hormonal imbalance?) Just concerned about initial breakout.
Just some background... I have not used OC previously. I have no family history of breast cancer, no hypertension, non-smoker, and had 2 migraines in the past 5 years.

so ok no probs so far, then when i went to collect the script yesterday he had left me a note saying that these where addictive but still gave me a script for another 14 days, i had no idea these things where addictive and i dont abuse them, i take only one at night to help me sleep!! as anyone else heard of this or had problems with it? i am going to go back to him next week and ask him to change me on to something thats not addictive, i am just freaking out about it!!

I'm 24 years Old, I have been suffred from the bad acne all over my face , then I have treated with roaccutane every day for 6 monthes ,,after that all the acne's disappear..
My forearms itch me to death. No rash. Only the hair stands up straight on my arms. But the itch is not relieved by any antihistamines, no matter how many or how long I take them. I have been perscribed some topical treatments, however they are too temporary of relief too. Steroid pills helped while on them, but now im off and the itch is back. Guh! It has to be an allergic reaction to something?!
My doctor presciibed me pain tablets 3 times a day (had an anal fissure operation 30.07.2011) but the extreme pain is only during bowel movents and no pain normally,I am not sure if I had give him the information or not...and so I am not taking the pills bt the pain is not gone..should I take it??

Hi all I'm 6 weeks pregnant. Is anybody taking iron tablets. Is it a must. I am not enjoying taking these tablets at all.
I'm on exactly the same as you 3 times a day. Before taking them I felt so faint every time I stood up it was horrible :/ must of been due to low iron and low blood pressure.
Not a nice time when you go to the toilet though!!!
