Avatar n tn Took for 1week 5mg desloratadine after my ivf. transfer. Started the antihistamine day 6 after embryo transfer without thinking or consulting the dr.(i always took it during pregnancy and thought its safe but never at such an early stage of pregnancy). Tested positive BHCG day8 after transfer +hcg22 day11+hcg53 day16 hcg56 day18 dropped hcg36. Can the reason of miscarriage be the use of antihistamine ? can antihistamine stop implantation from continuing ?

Avatar f tn hi, i have suffered from possible salicylate induced urticaria for about 18 months, recently my gp switched my anti-histamine from ceterizine to desloratadine and even though i occasionally still have mild reactions this medication really seems to help. However i am now suffering from a totally different skin condition, unlike anything i hav ever had before. It started about 9 weeks ago.
Avatar f tn t buy it regularly as it is more expensive is Aerius which uses desloratadine, a metabolite of loratadine (copied from their site). I got no side effects from either one.

20922415 tn?1661860103 If pregnancy occurs, progesterone is produced in the placenta, and levels remain elevated throughout the pregnancy. The combination of high estrogen and progesterone levels suppresses further ovulation during pregnancy. Progesterone also encourages the growth of milk-producing glands in the breast during pregnancy. High progesterone levels are believed to be partly responsible for symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS), such as breast tenderness, feeling bloated, and mood swings.
Avatar m tn the previous few days I have used drugs such as vitamin PP, Desloratadine, Cetirizine, LOTTUSALICPMMADE to treat Eczema That affects test results sorry my english is very bad
Avatar m tn I started taking fexofenadine 180mg per day with no results for about a week. Also took benadryl for a week with no results. I then changed to betametasone 0.6mg + desloratadine, 2 per day for three days then 1 per day for 3 days, which made the itching go away about the third day but came back soon after the fifth day while taking it. I went to see my allergist. I have rhinitis and once (8 years ago) I had acute urticaria that solved with an injection of corticosteroids.
Avatar m tn You can find easily an over the counter over-the counter antihistamines (e.g., loratadine, desloratadine, cetirizine, fexofenadine) which can be used to help with symptoms. You may also use over the counter smoothening, antipruritic agents to get relief. Also use mild soaps and calamine lotion which helps in soothing the skin. If the symptoms persist then you may need topical steroids.

1318465 tn?1614894302 Hi everyone, Today in the HIV forums, I read about someone's non-existent exposure. Which was wearing two condoms and having vaginal sex for 2 minutes. This person then checked the condom for leakage by filling it with water. Ah, I remember those days, I actually forgot about that technique, of course I actually did it for more of a fear of pregnancy reasons --didn't want my gf to get pregnant.
Avatar f tn Did you ever take a pregnancy test to even see if you were pregnant? If not then maybe your period was just late. If you knew for sure that you were pregnant and now you're bleeding you should go see your doctor.
Avatar n tn My sister got pregnant after her tubes were tied. Go to the dr, if you are they will likely do an ultra sound to make sure ots mot a tubal pregnancy.
Avatar m tn Hey, i took a pregnancy test the other day and it came back positive, then about 4 days later i took another one and it came back negative- i have sore boobs, been feeling and being sick, cramps, back ache- am i pregnant?
Avatar n tn Well, another pregnancy is certainly possible. If it's been two weeks since your last unprotected sexual encounter, then you should be able to try another pregnancy test. Use first morning urine and a sensitive test like First Response. The other possibility is that that was your period and it was just unusually light. After terminating a pregnancy, your hormones can take a bit of time to adjust, and it's not uncommon to have heavier then or lighter then normal cycles.
Avatar f tn My partner and I have been trying for a baby for a while and I missed my period 3 weeks ago, however pregnancy test came back negative 3 times. Im a healthy 23yr old. Any suggestions to what else it could be ? Should I test again soon ?
2191805 tn?1338804239 But because shes late id suggest taking a pregnancy test just to make sure, and stressing out about it might make her period late.
