1981227 tn?1336328438 Travel? I love it and wish I could take a trip to Japan or anyplace in the Far East. I've been in the habit of buying trip insurance to cover the cost of our airline tickets or cruises, but I'm not sure about insurance for all of your possible needs. Do you happen to belong to AAA? I would contact them and discuss it with their agents who know these answers. Good for you to not hesitate on these trips and I'm especially happy to head your are feeling well.
Avatar n tn hi, i don't have any dental insurance so I need to pick and choose which tests and procedures at the dentist are really needed. I ask you this because I hope to find unbiased opinion. Last time I skipped the peridontal xray, but got the cavity xray and cleaning...he found 2 tiny cavities that ran me $400 out of my pocket but later a hygenist said maybe that wasn't necessary as the decay could have been reversed... So what do I "really" need..
1027870 tn?1252056250 yes you too can have a dental plan that most reputable dentists will not accept! i would love to go to a dental mill full of new, inexperienced dentists.
198506 tn?1251156915 Are you a member of AAA? I know that members can receive some discounts if they stay at a hotel that offers Triple-A discounts. Their website is www.aaa.com When my Mom and I went on a eleven hour road trip to Elizabethtown, KY from Wrightsville, PA we had a hotel booked through AAA. We have also gone to www.mapquest.com in order to get directions to our destination, AAA was also able to provide a lot of help with directions as well.
Avatar n tn I have dental insurance but as we all know the coverage has been less and less over the past few years so I looked into dental discount programs. Did you know that some dental providers will accept both insurance and a dental discount plan togeather? It took me about 5 phone calls but I know it was worth it. On my first visit I had 3-cavitys filled. The cost after my insurance was $144. factor in the dental discount plan and my out of pocket cost was only $14!!! Check it out at http://www.
Avatar n tn My husband (40 y/o,healthy)and I (40 y/o, healthy) are looking to get our health insurance coverage from next present. Right now we are on cobra GHI( extension from my previous work place) but they are asking me to change to EMPIRE PPO or EPO since they will not have GHI. I did not have dental and vision coverage previously but even if I want it they are saying they cannot add it. They are also asking for a one year committment.
Avatar n tn I am disabled on Original Medicare, have no intent to buy private insurance... I am wondering, is it possible for an individual to get real, stand alone dental insurance? Everything I've looked at caps yearly benefits at $1,000 or so which is completely insulting considering the premiums are close to half of that. Where can you buy dental insurance that gives you "REAL" coverage?
552012 tn?1272855991 3 cm. My father died from AAA at age 60 from rupture of same. They found his AAA 2 yrs prior at which he was at 6.0cm. We don't know the size at rupture. I work 2 jobs, shortness of breath, lifelong nonsmoker nondrugger. They are sending me tomorrow for CT Abdomen w/contrast one week after Echo showed the 6.3cm dilatation. Does this sound like good course of action....AND.....those who have had surgery for AAA any comments/suggestions are welcomed.
Avatar f tn My husband 53 yrs old also has High blood pressure, and he has had microscopic hematuria for a very long time could this have caused the AAA with mural thrombus , His albumine in urine was 650, then they changed med to coversyl 5 mg and norvaprine 5 mg ,every three months he does a urine test and last time it was 125, then went upto 195, he did another one again but as I was not with him.

Avatar n tn the cervical disk surgery did not totally resolve my problems but shoulders were not this bad back in 2003 and have worsened. My insurance AAA refused me treatment and I was left with no treatment except at an emergency room where nothing was ever done except Vicodin given. A few Dr at Cleveland Clinic wanted to operate on shoulders but agains insurance denied treatment. I am getting much worse. My questions are is this a typicl brachial plexus injury.?
Avatar n tn How serious is a AAA surgery for a 72 male, with MS. Looks to be a candidate for graph. They do not say “you are a candidate”, just we think you are, and company that makes graph says the same. Scheduled to have stress test done. If graph fails, is immediate abdominal surgery required to repair aneurysm? Wondering if choosing a hospital with more resources might be better.
Avatar f tn Ok mommys that have medicaid . Will I get denied if I already have dental insurance but not health insurance?
Avatar m tn Hello, I can't remember the last time I was at the dentist but at the time the dentist said I had no cavities. Now I'm 21 and I have a cavity in on of my top molars. I don't know what to do, I don't have dental insurance and I really don't have the money to get it fixed. I don't want to wait any longer and have it get any worse but I don't have the extra arm and a leg the dentists charge.
Avatar f tn Hey Sarah I too am a college student looking for health insurance, I was curios to know what you chose and what worked for you. Also did you add dental to your health insurance, I cant find many quotes with both to know how much together they would cost.
Avatar m tn I am so far a healthy 43 year old/m in pa. I am trying to decide which health insurance plan will be good for my situation and I am looking for some opinions here. This Month my group plan ends and I can take cobra but there is no financial benefit to taking my same PPO plan which gives me to price break for being unemployed. So I am trying to look at this at a meaningful way. Since my PPO was $475/m plue $29 dental I just cant be paying that on my own now.

Avatar f tn I have over 3700 of damage to my car... Was getting the run around for insurance because they provided false info to the cop and me... Mind you the cop called to make sure mine was legit, but not theirs... Ugh.... called the cop and said "while you were worried about checking my insurance because it didn't come in a pretty envelope like theirs it was just the state farm card that says keep in your car, you should of called theirs too, because they provided false info"....
Avatar n tn I am just getting my own dental insurance next month, so I believe I would have to wait a year to see a periodontist with this particular insurance. If you have any suggestions on how to keep my gums as healthy as possible, so that I can avoid more problems, please let me know. Thanks so much.
Avatar f tn Also, see if there is a birth center near you. I know our local BC has options for families with no insurance. The total out of pocket to deliver there and be seen throughout the pregnancy is about $4500 compared to 3x that amount about the hospital.
Avatar n tn She really need some help. Does anyone know of a place that will take someone without dental insurance in Lake County, IL. She fears the infection may have entered her sinus cavity as last time she went in they told her she had a sinus infection. please help!!
946207 tn?1246134385 My mouth is full of dental problems- I have 8 abcessed teeth. One bad infection is in one of my front teeth that hurts all the way up under my sinus cavity. I HAVE TO be sedated at the dentist (been this way since I was young- had abusive dentist when I was little girl who caused me alot of pain). NO low-income dental clinics will sedate me and I can't afford a regular dentist/oral surgeon/sedation. I am 43 yo tomorrow and am going to die from these infections in my mouth.
