917815 tn?1377498254 I dont post much (read a lot though)...a little over 3 weeks clean (again, LOL)... My right shoulder has been killing me the last 2-3 weeks, and this weekend, seems to have gotten worse; Doc said on Fri, most likely muscular...went through the weekend with Tylenol and today, pain is even worse. I asked him for something "non-narcotic" (he knows about my addiction) and he suggested Cyclobenzaprine (muscle relaxer).
Avatar f tn Hi. I am wanting to quit taking Cyclobenzaprine. I took 20mg a day off and on, like twice a week for 2 years, and then started taking the 20 mg every day for the last 13 years. I plan to wean off, and am wondering what to expect as of withdrawal symptoms. Also, does anyone know of a natural med I could take in it's place?
Avatar n tn Based on the findings, Cyclobenzaprine HCl should be used with caution in subjects with mild hepatic impairment starting with the 5 mg dose and titrating slowly upward. Due to the lack of data in subjects with more severe hepatic insufficiency, the use of Cyclobenzaprine HCl in subjects with moderate to severe impairment is not recommended. http://www.drugs.com/pro/cyclobenzaprine.
Avatar n tn My new doctor prescribed me Cyclobenzaprine for my muscles spams but I take celexa on my regular basis. I remember he told me to be careful in no combining those two. Tonight, I took my celexa around 1am. At 3:55am, I forgot I took the celexa and I took Cyclobenzaprine. Do you think is something I should be worry? I looked online about the drug interaction and they say could be deadly. I am very worry. Any advice of what I can do? Do I gonna be okay?
Avatar f tn my cholesterol level is 288, for at least 15 years, the bad cholesterol is pretty bad. I am scared to take the meds, because of the serious complications that have arose from these meds...but yesterday i had blurry vision in one eye, went to eye dr, was told poss.migrane of the eye, but since i had a tia in 1996, she suggested to my Dr. a doppler study, which I just left the hospital, my right cortoroid attery is a little less than 50 percent blocked.
Avatar n tn I was in a car accident March 20th, 2009. I was put on cyclobenzaprine and naproxen for 3 months by my doctor to treat whiplash from mid back to neck. At that time I had a severe reaction to naproxen and developed severe ankle to hip pain. Then my doctor put me on tramadol with cyclobenzaprine. I was still experiencing shots of pain down my arms About a month later, so my doctor had me get a MRI of my neck.

Avatar f tn So I recently just tested positive last week and today had the results of my blood work. Found out I have a viral load of 37000 and cd4 count of 288 with no symptoms. My doctor said these numbers were not too bad but I was just wondering how long would the virus be in my system with numbers like this?

483757 tn?1208481255 My OB took me off of all of my Fibro meds at the beginning of pregnancy. (Meds were- Neurontin, Cyclobenzaprine, Baclofen, Trazodone, Vit. D and Tramadol) The only thing she will allow me to take is 1/2 to 1 tab of Vicodin 10/500mg a day even though narcotics have NEVER worked for my pain and she knows that- and I hate Vicodin. At every appointment, I tell her that my pain is worsening and unbearable but her only suggestions have been more narcotics and warm water exercise.

Avatar m tn Medications called alpha-adrenergic blockers which help relax the muscles of the prostate gland, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory pain killers, antibiotic course because the cause may be bacterial, diazepam , methocarbamol or cyclobenzaprine, sitz baths, self-massage of the perianal area, allopurinol ,transurethral microwave thermotherapy and surgical resection of the prostate. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.

Avatar m tn I just remembered that about a year ago I was prescribed some muscle relaxers for my neck (Cyclobenzaprine). Do you guys think that if I take one or two of them when I am having a hard time sleeping from the restless legs s**t that it will help me sleep?
Avatar n tn Hi Cindy, So sorry to hear you got caught up in the HCV! From what I understand it is rampant among our population. I only came across the gg info yesterday and thought, "Gee, that sounds familiair." I, too, had gg and I also had Rhogam which is given to pregnant woman who are Rh- when the father is Rh+ and I read there are implications on that as well.
Avatar f tn I'm making this a new post lest you inadvertantly missed my response to xracer's previous thread. Your answer re. gamma globulin blew my mind. I'm one of those people who have no idea how they contracted hcv - none of the standard risk factors. BUT, in 1954, my brother had the measles and my pediatrician gave me GG, which didn't prevent measles but did significantly reduce the severity of my symptoms.
