483757 tn?1208481255 My OB took me off of all of my Fibro meds at the beginning of pregnancy. (Meds were- Neurontin, Cyclobenzaprine, Baclofen, Trazodone, Vit. D and Tramadol) The only thing she will allow me to take is 1/2 to 1 tab of Vicodin 10/500mg a day even though narcotics have NEVER worked for my pain and she knows that- and I hate Vicodin. At every appointment, I tell her that my pain is worsening and unbearable but her only suggestions have been more narcotics and warm water exercise.
Avatar n tn Hepatic Impairment In a pharmacokinetic study of sixteen subjects with hepatic impairment (15 mild, 1 moderate per Child-Pugh score), both AUC and Cmax were approximately double the values seen in the healthy control group. Based on the findings, Cyclobenzaprine HCl should be used with caution in subjects with mild hepatic impairment starting with the 5 mg dose and titrating slowly upward.
Avatar n tn 55am, I forgot I took the celexa and I took Cyclobenzaprine. Do you think is something I should be worry? I looked online about the drug interaction and they say could be deadly. I am very worry. Any advice of what I can do? Do I gonna be okay? How long apart I can take those two medications?
701713 tn?1228363498 Hi there; I've had the same problem, and I've taken sleep aids for years also. Now I take Restoril one night and the next I use over the counter sleep aids. I know how miserable it is not to get enough sleep. I don't like taking the sleeping pills, but in order to function at all, I have to. I stopped fighting it and take my pills and sleep. I can take 2 Advil PM and they work better than the perscription sleep med. Tylenol PM makes me sick at my tummy so I stay away from them.
Avatar m tn I'm on day 4 coming off Vicoden, is there anything I can do at night to help sleep. I can't sit still and I just watch the hours pass by while flipping around. I have a family & business I'm trying to maintain but I'm falling apart. What can I take to help get some sleep? I was not planning on quitting but my source ran out temporarily, more will arrive as soon as tomorrow. Now I'm trying to convince my self to quit for good but also can't wait until they arrive.
Avatar n tn Can I take Hydrocodone 10/325, Cyclobenzaprine 10mg, and Tramadol 50mg together safely?
917815 tn?1377498254 I dont post much (read a lot though)...a little over 3 weeks clean (again, LOL)... My right shoulder has been killing me the last 2-3 weeks, and this weekend, seems to have gotten worse; Doc said on Fri, most likely muscular...went through the weekend with Tylenol and today, pain is even worse. I asked him for something "non-narcotic" (he knows about my addiction) and he suggested Cyclobenzaprine (muscle relaxer).
Avatar f tn Hi. I am wanting to quit taking Cyclobenzaprine. I took 20mg a day off and on, like twice a week for 2 years, and then started taking the 20 mg every day for the last 13 years. I plan to wean off, and am wondering what to expect as of withdrawal symptoms. Also, does anyone know of a natural med I could take in it's place?
Avatar f tn My hair is very dry and brittle, which it never has been and the texture and nature has changed. (was very curly now just frizzy) The skin under all my fingernails starting at the nail bed has a very light fleshy color and as it nears the end of the finder has a red line that turns even a deeper red as the nail extends beyond the end of the finger. The end of the nail is white.
Avatar f tn You are right, certain medications particularly muscle relaxants and antichlinergics, interfere with the results of EMG like baclofen and flexeril or cyclobenzaprine that you are taking. It would be prudent to apprise your neurologist of all the medications you are on, so that the EMG results are appreciated in that light. Muscle biopsy can be taken up after an EMG. Consult your neurologist for his preferences and expertise. Take care.
Avatar n tn I have recently been given an R. For Trazodone 50mg and waiting to know if anyone else is taking it.
Avatar n tn that's a really low dose of Ativan and Ativan generally takes quite awhile to take effect, possibly an hour or two. I've tried trazodone too and that doesn't do much either - it's an antidepressant with sedation as a side effect, so they figure it will work but a lot of times it doesn't. If the trazodone doesn't work don't bother with it.
2065212 tn?1334584906 t need the Klonopin but for tonight, just take the trazodone and ask the doctor about it in the morning. The trazodone will get you drowsy so I wouldn't take them together.
380530 tn?1239162538 prescribed Trazodone for sleep. He prescribed 50 mgs. I started with a 1/4 of a tablet and every day built it up by another 1/4 tablet. I am now taking two 50 mg tablets. Its been about 10 days since I first started taking the Trazodone. It doesn't seem to be helping me sleep. I have very vivid dreams and am only able to sleep for 2 - 3 hrs. During the 2 - 3 hrs I don't feel like I am in a deep sleep because I am having wild dreams most of the time.
1468545 tn?1296601775 Been clean for 17 days now and had a Dr visit today and he perscribed me trazodone for sleep. Im very hesitant to take these. I told him my whole situation and made it very clear that I didnt want to trade off my addiction for something else that would be a problem. If this wouldnt become a problem and provided me with some sleep great, but it seems like taking anything comes with a cost. Anything I should be aware of or suggestions of if I should even take them?
1915001 tn?1322662784 Hi, I am on Trazadone for depression and sleep... It has helped me so far and I have been on it for about 2 weeks. I am on 50 mg @ bedtime. The only thing is on my daughter's school nights I some times break one in half to wake up fast....I am not groggy in the morning, but have a lil bit of a problem getting up, I haven't slept good in so long I think my body just wants to get sleeping. LOL....
Avatar n tn My psychiatrist prescribed Trazodone to help me sleep. I was on it for one week and started having chest pains, tachycardia and dizziness. I went to the ER because I was concerned. The said nothing was wrong with my heart. So I tried to find the answer elsewhere. I looked up the side effects of Trazodone. All my syptoms and more are listed. I went back to the doctor yesterday. I told him what happened.
Avatar m tn I tried trazodone when I first started detoxing........it actually made me wired and kept me awake. I take Melatonin and Valerian at night....it really helps. I also read at night...it gets my mind off of things and relaxes me enough to fall asleep. I don't sleep a lot..usually about 4-5 hours a night...but it seems to be all I need anymore. When I was taking pills, I would sleep 10 hours a night! I still get real bad RLS at night and the Valerian seems to help that.
Avatar m tn He had a thorough checkup today at the hospital and the attending physician agreed it probably was the Trazodone so told my husband to stop taking it (which he already had done) but to continue with the beta blockers until he saw the specialist again. Apparently it takes about a week to get the Trazodone out of a person's system so now it's a waiting game. Yes, we were scared. We were also surprised the heart specialist didn't make the connection; however, it is rare.
Avatar f tn My wife took 100 mg Trazadone every night before bed as a sleeping aid, an off label use. I tried it myself and it didn't work as a sleep aid. I was also looking form help with stress caused depression, it didn't seem to help me in that area either. I switched to Sertraline (Zoloft) not sure if that will help with depression or not. I find the generic Ambien doesn't help me sleep either.
Avatar f tn t seem like too much to me. The Tramadol is not a narcotic and neither is the Cyclobenzaprine as that is the muscle relaxer. The Hydrocodone is a low dose so he should be alright.
Avatar f tn After having total knee replacement 2 months ago, I was given hydrocodone 10-325, Tramadol 50mg and then eventually Trazodone 100mg (for sleep). At first I was taking max dosage of hydrocodone and supplementing with the Tramadol between dosages. I was in a lot of pain and not sleeping, so was prescribed Trazodone about 2 weeks into recovery. Over the two months, I began to have terrible stomach issues..constipation, nausea and general malaise. After talking to my Dr.
1654177 tn?1319838494 According to the product information for the hepatitis C virus (HCV) NS3/4A protease inhibitors, boceprevir and telaprevir, plasma concentrations of the antidepressants desipramine and trazodone may be increased when coadministered with these agents. The mechanism may involve inhibition of CYP450 3A4 metabolism. No pharmacokinetic data are currently available; however, adverse effects such as nausea, dizziness, hypotension, and syncope may be increased.
Avatar m tn I have to say that after taking Trazodone for a couple of weeks I could have healthy sex with or without viagra. I took Trazodone for a bit more than 3 months and then gradually stopped. for the following 4 months I could also have good sex ONLY when taking viagra. But now (after 6 months of stopping Trazodone) viagra stopped working again. My question is: Did the doctor tell me to stop taking it too soon? should I start taking trazodone again for a longer time?
Avatar f tn My went to visit my doctor about my anxiety and sleeping issues and he has put me on Cipralex 10mg dosage a day and also prescribed me 50mg of trazodone to be taken at bedtime to help me sleep. Does anyone take these prescriptions? if so could I please get some feedback on them?
