211940 tn?1267884866 However, he said it could NOT be causing me so much pain. He checked out my arm and noticed a hard soft tissue knot, and suggested removing it through surgery and it "might" relieve my pain. So, 3 weeks ago I had the said surgery and it was removed (a hard soft tissue mass about the size of a marble). No, this was not the cyst inside my humerus bone. Anyways, I still have the pain, and it is extremely terrible at night (on a scale of 1 to 10, a 20 at night).

630344 tn?1280108583 I am also on Effexor, Topamax, Qualaquin, Oxyprozin, Cyclobenzaprine..... I am way over medicated and yet I have no relief of any of my symptoms. It is ridiculous. I have been to a few different doctors over the last several years, too. I wish I could find one that could just make me better. I hate my life the way it is now and I get so depressed thinking of the woman I once was.
Avatar n tn Switching from zoloft, which I had tried to stop myself, made me became very angry, and, when switching to lexipro, the first 3 weeks was suicidal. After quitting the prozac and effexor, I was suicidal. I can actually say I feel better with the wellbutrin. My hands shake like a person with parkinsons, when I relax still. The doctors say it takes a few weeks, but it doesn't for me. It happens the very first day on all of them that I have had. Thanks for answering me.
Avatar n tn I also have a torturous time climbing steps, as well as stabbing cramps and pain in my legs. Leg and thigh weakness is profound, and progressive. Regardless, I wake up in pain, and I go to bed at night with severe pain. Up until recently, I was taking 1 Tylenol #3 at bedtime which helped to lessen the nighttime pain, and in another way, helped to ease the morning pain as well.
1415174 tn?1453246703 During one particularly nasty pain flare and after three years of my physician pleading with me to try diazepam I reluctantly agreed. I know the dangers of the drug and was concerned about it's side effects and addictive qualities. However it's been a wonder drug for me. Granted I rarely take it... still concerned that my body will become accustomed to it. Rarely means one, rarely two, every two - three weeks, sometimes a month.
Avatar n tn Prior to the onset of these headaches I was working as a Greenhouse Manager charged with the care and production of various perennial and annual plants. As mentioned before, this had been an aspiration of mine since graduating with a horticulture/floriculture production degree from Alfred State College. Due to the inability to function as any normal human being, I was unable to continue to work effectively and immediately sought medical attention.

Avatar f tn flexeril and mobic were added to my drug cocktail. i'm already a fibro/migraine patient and was taking topamax, effexor, gabapentin, and ambien plus meds to lower blood pressure and cholesterol. the flexeril and mobic both helped my fibro symptoms and once my hands and left arm were rehabbed after a year the rheumatologist kept the meds on my list. now i have cataracts! i'm only 46!!
1285653 tn?1288362229 google it if you want to know more about this med. I am recently taking Effexor XR, Clonopin and thyroid medication. (developed hasimoto's disease , too) .... I am so afraid of damaging my liver or pancreas or something because of so much medication I am taking and have tried too. Now here comes the freaky part....
Avatar n tn It tends to be on my torso somewhere, but I think I've experienced it on my upper legs and rear end as well. Right now it's an area starting at my spine below my ribcage, and wrapping around my side to the front a bit. It's a sensation that my skin is raw, as if it's been scraped or carpet-burned. Any contact with the area feels exactly as if I'm touching raw tender skin (probably less painful) and the discomfort seems to be just skin-deep.
Avatar n tn I am having extremely debilitating anxiety right now. Mild chest discomfort but I focus in on it so much that it becomes unbearable. I am always aware of my heartbeat and like above I focus in to it where it just drives me insane. I am expereincing undescribable levels of discomfort and I just dont understand whats wrong with me. My heart rate throughout the day is 90-100 bpm resting, and it shoots up even when I do simple tasks such as walking.
Avatar f tn I recently went to an ENT who told me my larynx was having spasms and he told me the spasm would pass and not to panic which is extemely difficult as you know. Mine seems to be triggered by cold symptoms (thats when it's worse) Have you gone to an ENT yet and if so what did he say it was?? Just the thought of having one of them literally makes me shake with fear.
Avatar n tn I have a white coated tongue and it burns and feels almost like sandpaper. My lips too are dry and cracked constantly. My mouth is very dry. I have good and bad news. The good is that it could be only a yeast infection in your mouth called thrush. The bad news is that ive been treated for thrush 3 or 4 times in my 4 year quest to get rid of this. Your symptoms sound like thrush as does mine. My symptoms have alleviated in the past year or two but it is still slightly there.
