Hepatic Impairment
In a pharmacokinetic study of sixteen subjects with hepatic impairment (15 mild, 1 moderate per Child-Pugh score), both AUC and Cmax were approximately double the values seen in the healthy control group. Based on the findings, Cyclobenzaprine HCl should be used with caution in subjects with mild hepatic impairment starting with the 5 mg dose and titrating slowly upward.
55am, I forgot I took the celexa and I took Cyclobenzaprine. Do you think is something I should be worry? I looked online about the drug interaction and they say could be deadly. I am very worry. Any advice of what I can do? Do I gonna be okay? How long apart I can take those two medications?
Hi. I am wanting to quit taking Cyclobenzaprine. I took 20mg a day off and on, like twice a week for 2 years, and then started taking the 20 mg every day for the last 13 years. I plan to wean off, and am wondering what to expect as of withdrawal symptoms. Also, does anyone know of a natural med I could take in it's place?
You are right, certain medications particularly muscle relaxants and antichlinergics, interfere with the results of EMG like baclofen and flexeril or cyclobenzaprine that you are taking. It would be prudent to apprise your neurologist of all the medications you are on, so that the EMG results are appreciated in that light. Muscle biopsy can be taken up after an EMG. Consult your neurologist for his preferences and expertise. Take care.
I have been on oxycodone for a year 20 mg four times a day and they change manufacturers and I'm allergic to the fillers so my question is he's putting me on Dilaudid 4 milligrams I'm wanting to know when do I switch over how do I switch over or do I just take one of them instead of the other ones am I going to have any withdrawals from the oxycodone
Hello guys, this is my first post though I've read a few threads from this forum while researching my pain management schedule. What I basically want to get information on is the type of medication I should stick with, and strategies to maintain efficacy.
I'm relatively young but had a few sports injuries when I was in high school and shortly after.
My boyfriend is in the hospital right now and they gave him dilaudid...he has an addiction to dilaudid already and the dosws they gave him.are far less.than what he was taking...this has actually neen somewhat of a blessing to us both because with such low doses he feels he has a better chance of stopping. His only concern is taking the suboxone too early...and of course he does not want to wait and suffer either. So how long should he wait?
I'm on the exactly same thing. Just worried since I'm a first time mom. I took one earlier and my body feels relaxed and my baby is still moving around which is a good sign to me (: I just hope it works. I really can't afford a chiropractor again but I hate medicines if I can avoid them. Thank you !
They diagnosed me with a cervical sprain and prescribed me Cyclobenzaprine and Tylenol-Codeine as well as applied a muscle relaxant shot and sent me on my way. I started the prescription regimen that day.
Two days later, I began to lose hearing in my right ear. It felt as though it was "full" of water or wax or the like. I visited a different clinic (as I was in another city) and they prescribed me a steroid and informed me that my eardrum had filled with fluid.
I was in a car accident March 20th, 2009. I was put on cyclobenzaprine and naproxen for 3 months by my doctor to treat whiplash from mid back to neck. At that time I had a severe reaction to naproxen and developed severe ankle to hip pain. Then my doctor put me on tramadol with cyclobenzaprine. I was still experiencing shots of pain down my arms About a month later, so my doctor had me get a MRI of my neck.
On one hand this doctor has a point and your husband can not be on pain killers forever. He also probably looked at the chart and realized how much and for how long he has been prescribing an addictive substance to a patient without a real plan of action and his clinic charts may be up for review by DEA or some other governmental entity.
I recently met my sister after 48 years and just recently found out she has chronic hep c and I also found out she injects Dilaudid daily, how many times per day I am not sure... what would be her reasons for doing this? She lives in another province with no phone or computor so I can not directly ask her... is it possible she is addicted and not using it for pain but to get high.... I'm quite concerned for her and need answers..please help if you can...
s not alot if taken oraly. I used to inject that amount or more daily and dilaudid is like morphine in that oraly it is much much weaker than injecting. It should be much different than taking 4 percocets 10's a day. The factor that is more important is for HOW LONG HAVE BEEN TAKING THEM ON A DAILY BASIS?
Dilaudid and Fentanyl are at the top of the list of the most powerful 'doctor prescribed' addictive drugs. Using either of them for more than a very short period of time will guarantee that you will have some major withdrawal symptoms when you try to quit. Addictive personality has nothing to do with it ---- when you flood your neurotransmitters with that strong of a drug - there will be an effect.
Because that's what my doc just gave me and i don't want too go to work all lazy and groggy when i was on oxy they gave me energy so im off oxy but scared to take Dilaudid
If you have been on dilaudid for over 2 years, 16-24 mg per day, how long will it take you to detox, then how long will it take to feel normal?
Can I took two tablets of ic oxycodone 5-325, can I take my ic cyclobenzaprine 5 mg with it?
Concidentally someone else was asking this exact question with the same pill combination (the green/yellow capsule along with an unmarked yellow pill) about a year ago...

I have just been taken off Soma and dilaudid after several years. Taking one of each every night, and then as needed. I have never abused them. He kept me on the trazadon and added tamazapam. We both knew I was addicted, and now I am going thru what I presume is withdrawl. I have not taken any soma or dilaudid since wed night. I have diarreah, shaking, much of the pain I was taking them for (fibromyalgia, and back spasms) I am a diabetic and my blood levels are all up and down.
My doc has 4mg per 24hr of dilaudid, I was taking oxycontin 80mg 3xdaily and aqtic 1600mcg 4 time daily and now I have no breakthrough meds and I feel like my pain is worse now with the pump, My doc says I don't need anymore medication because it don't work on me.....I am devistated because I have torn tendons and ligaments in my back by my shoulder blade. I feel like I have a broken wing from my shoulder blade.....
