Avatar m tn I have seen lot of posts and spent hours on the forums wherever I found mention of advanced bone age/Anastrozole/Letrozole. It seems there are quite a few posts under Pediatric Endo forum but not able to find any answers if any parents tried Anastrozole/Letrozole and what has been their experience regarding delaying bone age and side effects. I will appreciate if any parent with experience of using Anastrozole for their kids may share their experience.
Avatar m tn what is the cost of a yearly tenofovir treatment? Where can i order online with an affordable cost?
Avatar n tn Please discuss with your treating doctors, the option of switching aromatase inhibitor therapy to one of the other agents, such as Femara (Letrozole) or Exemestane (Aromasin), to determine whether you would better tolerate these other drugs. I wish you well and I hope that something can be done to alleviate your discomfort....
Avatar n tn Have developed a heart rhythm disturbance, shortness of breath, edema of hands and legs/feet since being on Anastrozole. How worried should I be? Should I consider discontinuation discussions with my Dr.? This discussion is related to <a href='/posts/show/542261'>Can Arimidex Cause Skin Lesions?</a>.
Avatar n tn There are many very good generic antidepressants. Call your doctor immediately, explain why you had to stop and ask for one to be prescribed for you. He knows you're not to stop this medication cold turkey, and doctors have become very understanding with today's economy that a lot of us cannot afford the brand names. I take a generic and it's works great! A month's worth will cost between $8 and $10. Take care.
Avatar f tn Patent comes off dec 2009 if I recall. As far as cost - if you have insurance once it's generic it usually goes on the cheaper generic copay list if you have that sort of insurance. so for instance if with your insurance you pay $30 for non-generic drugs on the approved list and $10 for generics on the approved list - you'd be paying $20 less/month for your valtrex. Typically it's 30% reduction in price when it goes generic initially for paying out of pocket. drugstore.
Avatar f tn HepB is an eminently treatable disease, except for the high cost of medications. So, i would demand government to subsidize treatment, failing that, I would buy generic drugs from India.
Avatar f tn Is anyone out there taking Teva's version of Nexium? I'm to the point now where I can't get the brand. I was astonished to see that this generic version's co-pay through my insurance is so high! $80 for 90 days. I could understand this price for the brand, but for generic? Anyway, I had tried this version as I had to with my last insurance, it and I didn't do as well on it. I tried it for a week. I an wondering if it was just my imagination.
Avatar f tn Can anyone give me a ballpark of the cost for the suppressant drugs after a transplant. Just want to get an idea, know no one can give me exacts but any info would help. Thanks.
Avatar m tn The oncologist switched me to Anastrozole but the Anastrozole failed. My mom passed away at the age of 97 from omentum cancer. We didn't know she had cancer until 2 months before she passed. It's a very slow growing cancer. We had no idea and had never heard of omentum cancer before but we were later told It's a metastasis from the ovaries. My recent telehealth appointment with Sloan-Kettering the oncologist suggested exemestane Hormone blocker. Wishing your mom the best.
2112931 tn?1335098402 Generally only tier 1 is totally free of co-pay and that would cost me an additional $$ premium. To take advantage of that FREE generic, I would have to figure up how much I usually spend for generics and see if it is lesser to upgrade. Your basic question. NO, DMD drugs are not generic, they have not been around that long and my personal opinion is that I do not want generics "messing" with something that crucial to my health.
Avatar f tn im on anastrozole.
1801781 tn?1461629469 I am having to switch to the generic version of Lexapro as it is now available. Insurance wants the change and I am OK with it as the cost will be less. My question is has anyone been on it and can they tell a difference??
746512 tn?1388807580 Use of the term reactive airway disease in part reflects the difficulty in establishing a diagnosis of asthma in certain situations — such as during early childhood. Although it's possible for infants and toddlers to have asthma, tests to diagnose asthma generally aren't accurate before age 6. Pft's are accurate after that.. and usually rads is asthma.. You can buy Flovent inhalers in generic form which is part of the advair which is all you need. much cheaper..

Avatar n tn brand entecavir in india is about 100usd per month so you don t even have to look for the lowest price of the generic which is half that prce.generics are very good to lower prices, virad has reached as low as 7usd per month in some asian countries both antivirals are useless on virus and only lower replication but the infection goes on and usually more cells gets infected under these antivirals. THEY ARE NOT AN HBV CURE!
Avatar f tn Those are the actual thyroid hormones and would give a better idea of actual thyroid function. TSH is a pituitary hormone and is not always indicative of thyroid function since it can be affected by a number of variables. Insist on having Free T4 and Free T3 tested, then you can go from there. Are you having symptoms of hypothyroidism? If so, what symptoms are you having? What treatment are you undergoing for breast cancer?
415867 tn?1323365503 Insanelly expensive but my RE uses an online pharmacy out of the UK called IVFMEDS. I have purchased generic menopur (Repronex) from them. They charge about $18 a vial while discount programs here wanted $40. I had to use two vials in the morning for Ten days so calculate the cost. IVFMEDS is your best bet but you need to order early to make sure you get them in time for ur cycle. Good luck.
694885 tn?1232649948 I did sign up today for the WA state discount rx program and that will knock off about $10.00 of the cost. What thyroid medicine were you guys talking about that cost $10 month?
572651 tn?1530999357 I was very surprised and pleased when the new rx arrived in the mail - Provigil has now gone generic, and Modafinil (the generic name) was shipped instead of the name brand. The cost? A total of $20 for a 90 day supply. Maybe now that it is available in generic form all of our insurance companies will be less difficult to work with and get approved. We can only hope........
Avatar m tn I have search online for generic entecavir and i found a good news that Cipla, an india company has produced a generic for entecavir. However, i have search through the online pharmacy which provide generic entecavir, none of their shipping company covers south east asia, which is very disappointing. So anyone got an idea on how to buy generic entecavir to singapore/malaysia?
Avatar n tn Hi Grace, I just wanted to point out that a lot of us here in the US are uninsured and don't have a "provider". therefore it's the cost and means of getting the prescription itself that is the big hurdle to getting the Acyclovir treatment. Do you know of any other ways an uninsured person can get a doctor to write a prescription without having to pay $300 for an out of pocket office visit?
Avatar n tn I take the toprol xl and I use the generic and it cost me roughly $20 and I take 125mg twice a day. but you must make sure it is the generic for toprol xl because there is metoprolol succinate which is the generic for toprol xl and metoprolol tartrate which is the generic for lopressor. They both work in two different ways so they can not be interchanged at the same dose. I asked this question before toprol xl became a generic.
Avatar f tn Im suppose to be staring clomid and my doctor said it would cost me up to 1600 is this information correct because i thougth that the medication was cheap could somebody give me feed back on how much?
168348 tn?1379357075 I buy a lot of generic products, which are made by brand name companies, with the same ingredients. Its the advertising of the "Brand Name" products that is where the high cost comes from. Generics don't carry the "Brand Name" on it nor is it advertised, therefore cost are lower. Nearly everyone can take synthetic levothyroxine. It is identical to the body's own T4 .
