s try this again my induction date is set for January 15th and I just want some helpful words on what to expect/ what I should make sure I have when I go in just what I should need/ expect and some words or encouragement!

I'm being induced Sunday night. I'm so nervous! Dr. stripped my membrane today and that was the most painful thing I've ever experienced. And now that I felt that for a few seconds I know labor is gonna be 10x worst and it scares me to death! I'm having contractions now and slight blood let's see if I make it till Sunday!

I compiled a list of my symptoms and added dates as was suggested by many of you in preparation for my appt on Wed. Here is a copy of my list. Does it seem thourough?? I'm also hoping it is not too "wordy"?? Any suggestions? • Difficulty in concentration/thinking/focusing.

My shower was offered to me and no other words have been mentioned since! So make a list and maybe tell them ur Going to register too! U can do it all online I did at babies r us .com!

Mommies please don't loose hope. This is my story; On the 30th of Dec last year I was told that I had a missed miscarriage.i was so shocked(having had two previous pregnancies with no issues).i attributed it to a few days of alcohol consumption before I knew I was pregnant.a week later I went to my usual OB and was told that my HCG levels are rising.we saw a heartbeat.i developed severe tooth infection and was on antibiotics.

Our very own Meegy mentioned we needed some action on here so what better way than to make a list of all we are grateful for. Our lives get hectic and we sometimes forget to take the time to sit back and realize all the blessings we have right in front of us. I am grateful for my recovery first and foremost. I have my family, both home and here. I am so blessed with 3 loves of my life. My grandbabies are my everything as they have been a gift given to me to love and cherish.

So I'm Having Contractions And I'm Wandering If I Should Let It Get Worse Before Going In Because I Went Into Labor 3 Weeks Ago And They Stopped It Cause I Was 32 Weeks Now, At Mid Night, I'll Be 35 Weeks And They Said They Won't Stop It And I Will Get To Deliver At The Hospital Of My Choice ....

I'm so f*ucking over this. I'm only 1cm dilated and not having any contractions or anything. My doctor is being picky about inducing me but I finally have her talked into it. I got stretched and sweeper again today. Anyone to into labor after their second sweep?

Im a Ftm how do contractions feel like? Im 37 weeks& no pain at all. My baby does move a lot more.

I'm doing ok. Last night I had some abdominal pains for about 2 hours that really scared me. I think I just overdid it at my kids ballgame last night. Once I finally got comfortable in bed & fell asleep, the pain subsided. It could have been contractions, b/c my tummy got hard during the painful episodes. Contractions at this point isn't uncommon from what I hear. I'm drinking plenty of water today to try and calm the uterus.

So I'm 28 weeks today and I had a scare this past weekend...my cervix was effaced and I was 1 cm dilated...i was rushed in an ambulance to the hospital...doctors were pretty much telling me that my baby girl was trying to arrive! But with prayer, support and meds we managed to stop my contractions, my cervix is closed and now I'm.confined to.bedrest! I'm just so scared because now I feel like any movement I make she will try to come again...

How many of you make yourself a GOAL LIST for the day now? Anyone? I just started doing this recently and it sure helps me keep focused and stay busy a lot more. My list isnt just compiled of chores like a "to do " list, it also has random things on it too.

I am interested in this response as well as I am experiencing the same thing my back is hurting so oooooo much! And I do feel contractions but nothing I can't handle. And increase in mucus discharge. I list my mucus plus about 10 days ago. If this is it I hope he waits till daddy is home from work. Since this is baby number 3 and I have no idea what back labor feels like I don't want to go in without knowing for sure... 36 weeks pregnant.

So I got some wonderful words of wisdom yesterday from my counselor. I am going to pass it on hoping it may help even one person. Mornings are my hardest time. I feel like if I could get through the morning without Lortab, I can make it through the day. Today is day 8. It has been hard. I lay in bed in the morning and get overwhelmed when I think about all the things I need to do.

Now im a little behind with all the short terms for words eg.

Words, they can get us in all sorts of trouble. We can use them carelessly. We can spew venom with them when angry. We can leave marks on someone forever with our words. WE may not be aware when we say something that this thing --- these words will be with that person forever! Im a ftm so ive never had it done but i would think yu have a VERY good chance being dialated to a 4 already! Good luck!
