It's kind of like what my mom did for my sibs and me, but in a different spot on the left arm. Good idea or no? And how long should i wait after the baby is born to get it?
Yes I think I'd probably avoid it too. Kids are highly empathetic and you'll be in pain...that could be traumatic for her. I saw a birth when I was 18 or 19, and it was traumatic for me lol, and she's very young. I think if I were making the decision, I'd probably just bring her in for visits, and right afterwards. If she's one of the first to hold the baby, that will also make her feel like a part of it.
Yes, Your belly will ball up & harden. You don't always camp with contractions.

Cailin, is he a "stickler" for grammar? Reason I ask is, I'm kind of a stickler for grammar, and table manners. I was raised in a home where perfect grammar was spoken, and formal table manners were used during meals, and it bothers me when boyfriends or my now husband have poor grammar or manners. Is that what you're talking about?
Okay, so Iv had atleast five contractions in the last hour and a half, about 8-10 minutes apart.... but they I haven't had one in about 20 minutes.... can it be the start of labor???? I'm 38 weeks!
