It's most likely your baby getting into position. Meaning "engaging". It will be pretty uncomfortable for the next weeks until you deliver. But this is a good sign it just means you're that much closer. I'm sure at your next appointment if you ask to have it checked they'll have found you've started to dilate or efface!

If you've never had vaginal intercourse than you arestill a vvirgin. Being a virgin at 18 is not a bad thing at all and if you've waited this long you should deff hold out until you are at least engaged. Cailin, is he a "stickler" for grammar? Reason I ask is, I'm kind of a stickler for grammar, and table manners. I was raised in a home where perfect grammar was spoken, and formal table manners were used during meals, and it bothers me when boyfriends or my now husband have poor grammar or manners. So I went to the hospital due to brown discharge. And pain in my lower back and stomach to find out I was having contractions 1-2 min apart they gave me meds to slow down the contractions and did a whole bunch of test they ended up keeping me over night to make sure I didn't dialte and I didn't but continued to have contractions and they sent me home contractions stopped and than brown discharge now they are both back after 4 days is this meaning the baby is coming?

So I'm 36 weeks almost 37 weeks and I'm having contractions on a regular basis meaning all day about 10-15 apart and lasting any where to 30 to 45 seconds but they aren't strong enough yet to be considered active labor my question is how can these contractions to get stronger ?
If the contractions are regular meaning coming after equal interval of time...then please see your midwife or doctor... the baby might be coming early..but if they are not regular...the contractions may be braxton hicks contractions..which are nothing to worry about.
My due date is the 15 bit getting induced on the 9th cuz baby is too big. Gonna try a vaginal delivery either way. But I feel great.. maybe that's the problem.. no pain what so ever. I've been exercising throughout my entire pregnancy so I know that helped with the pain. I just finished a bike ride and waked for 15 min afterward and did squats with the bar and a kettle ball in hopes that contractions start.. it's been abt 40 min that I finished and still no contractions..
