Ok so I have had close to the whole chart in symptoms of a concussion 7 months post impact. I was recovering at a fairly normal pace until about 3/4 weeks into recovery when pain worse than when I had the initial headache from trauma. Keep in mind at that point I was a healthy 15 year old boy that was extremely active. Well anyway the pain that had returned from nowhere was increasing gradually for about one and a half months until the pain was so intense I had to go to the ER at 1am.
My concussion occurred 37 days ago when I slipped and fell backwards hitting the back of my head on a turf surface. In terms of the concussion recovery, I've been working with a concussion therapist to employ the practices of slowly getting back into activities without provoking symptoms. Unfortunately, I haven't seen much progress and may even have my symptoms come on earlier. I believe that this is related to sleep and neck issues that began about 18-20 days into the recovery.
Full recovery is expected from an uncomplicated concussion. But symptoms such as prolonged dizziness, memory loss, decreased mental functioning, irritability, and headaches may occur. My daughter is 13 years old and has been suffering with a terrible headache for about 2 weeks this time. She has had bouts of headaches off and on for 1 1/2 years. About 2 years ago, she was hit in the head with the handle bar of a bicycle, resulting in 12 staples in her head. They did not do a ct on her but said that she didn't suffer from a concussion. I sustained a minor concussion three weeks ago, and though my logical and linguistic faculties seemed to return to normal within a couple days, I have had persistent feelings of pressure and weakness in my head, though these have markedly diminished within the past week. my name is katie im 20 years old i played soccer for 16 years since i was little , over the past years i had 6 concussion , after those concussion i had MRI done apperetnly they didnt find anything and everything , all testing were normal ,, but theres a cluster of granuloma on the left pretrous apex. my brain is otherwise normal.

My daughter is 6 and is special needs, she took a tumble at school resulting in a concussion, she was diagnosis shortly there after with Amblyopia, could her fall cause this condition or is it just one of those things that happens ?

So in June of 2011, I was assaulted from behind while walking in to a McDonalds. At the time I was intoxicated, as I was coming back from the Fremont St Experience in Las Vegas. I was brought to the hospital after complaining about severe dizziness and head pain. CT scan showed a contusion and hematoma on the left frontal lobe. I was there for 3 days before they released me, as the bleed was not getting any worse.
sounds like you need to go to the dr. asap. you may have a concussion as well as other problems. an mri at the very least should give you more information.

It sounds like you suffered a concussion. I would not run to the hospital right away since it has been a few days but I would go see your family doctor just to get checked out. I know the balls you are talking about and I would not like to get hit in the head by one. In the meantime lay low and do not do anything strenuous, use in ice pack and some type of pain reliever for your head. You could feel this way for awhile so since you did hurt your head.
i fell off a ladder and landed on my back hitting the back of my head on concrete causing a laceration that had to be sewed up. along with that i had a concussion. that was four days ago. since that time the back of my neck is staying stiff and swelled. also, the laceration site that was sewed up has swelled and my head is starting to hurt more. is this commonplace?
If ur husband has not sought treatment nor apologized to u for threatening ur life then sadly to say...and i realize this is difficult...u did the right thing to protect ur life and leave the situation.Any children in the home witness to all of this?how did this affect them if so?
I had emergency surgery a little over a week ago to remove a 10cm dermiod cyst. The reason why it was removed in an emergency was because of pain in my left side. They found out during the operation it twisted my falopion tube killing the tissue. Because of the size of the cyst they had to remove it by laporotomy. I gave birth to 4 children without ever having a c-section..funny how that works out.
