when i went to lab for testing hiv combi ,laborant took my blood to purple bonnet tube.Just i researched and i learnt it is for Hiv 1 DNA pcr tests.And for hiv combi it should be red bonnet tube.What should i do ? should I trust my neg result even if they took my blood in purple tube,thnks.
Is 3 month conlusive for antibodie only test, or also for a combi test which looks for antigen and antibodies?

I cross checked with the lab and the machine they use is Roche Cobal e411 which tests for determination of HIV 1-p24 antigen and antibodies to HIV 1, including Group O and HIV 2 in human serum & plasma.
I again re-tested myself for HIV and this time through the HIV Combi Electrochemiluminescense Assay method on the 35th day and the results were non-reactive (negative). I cross checked with the lab and the machine they use is Roche Cobal e411 which tests for determination of HIV 1-p24 antigen and antibodies to HIV 1, including Group O and HIV 2 in human serum & plasma.
you need to get tested. get a duo/combi test as soon as you can as an indication and get tested again 3 months post exposure.
bear in mind, that if the condom only slipped during withdrawal at the end of intercourse you didn't have an exposure.
If you it slipped during intercourse and the tip of your penis was exposed while penetrated then do the tests in the order i mentioned. don't judge by the symptoms. rashes can be caused by many other causes. the odds are in your favour.

Being an examination combi, which also seeks the antigen p24, which is part of the virus, this result is definitive, because if you had the virus that antigen was circulating freely in your blood and would be detected in the examination combi.
i no tested for any std..after 10 day I had
HIV pcr RNA not detected...and
30 days HIV combi non reactive index value is 0.42
And 49 days rapid test non reactive and
63 days HIV combi non reactive index value 0.

Since my worry was not totally over, I cross checked with the lab and the machine they use is Roche Cobal e411 which tests for "determination of HIV 1-p24 antigen and antibodies to HIV 1, including Group O and HIV 2 in human serum & plasma" as the report mentioned.
14 days later i did PCR test it was negative and 4 weeks and 5 days later (33 days) i did a Combi test the 4th generation HIV1 and 2 and p24 all of them are negative (it was this test: HIV-1/2-Ak (Architect Ag/Ab Combo, CMIA). Tomorrow its going to be 6 weeks and 3 days (45 days) am going to do the combi test again i hope its negative.
