just a question, I was at GNC today and saw a product for colon or gastro cleansing. Has anyone used these, does it work and is it healty?

Has anyone tried the ACIA / COLON cleansing pills, drink whatever.... they say the fat just comes right off?!?! Comeon now... Does that really work, im trying to get opinons before i try it!!!

Does anyone have any suggestions to jump start weight loss maybe a gentle cleanse nothing too harsh?

I am just wondering has anyone tried to do a 7 day, or 14 day rapid cleanse that you buy at a Health Food or GNC type store once you have COMPLETELY stopped taking your opiates? If so, do you think this helps speeds up ridding the body of toxins, and thus feeling better quicker? I have bought one, but not use it yet- and it's suppose to help clean out your liver, organs and colon. Thoughts?

I've never used these before, so cannot comment one way or the other. My best recommendation is to eat plenty of fiber and drink lots of water. That's what works for me and aided my weight loss greatly. That, along with adequate exercise has kept me quite regular. The best sources of fiber include whole grains (breads and cereals, whole-grain pasta, brown rice); nuts and seeds; legumes (such as dried peas, beans & lentils); fruits; vegetables.
