colon-cleanse

1378071 tn?1313420821 The best way to lose weight is by implementing a healthy diet, watching portions sizes and moderate exercise. The bad thing about weight loss aids is that once you stop using them, you will most likely gain back whatever you lose.
Avatar f tn Does anyone have any suggestions to jump start weight loss maybe a gentle cleanse nothing too harsh?
Avatar m tn just a question, I was at GNC today and saw a product for colon or gastro cleansing. Has anyone used these, does it work and is it healty?
Avatar m tn Make an appointment with a gastroenterologist. It is costly if you don't have an insurance, regardless of age, if you are in doubt, consult with the Gas.. to have a colon scan. It takes a day of cleansing and a day of check up. Don't wait till too late. Colonsnocopy is suggested to the over 50 but no longer truth. You may develop a polyp in your 20s 30s 40s as well. Check if in doubt. When you see blool in your stool, act quickly. Polyp if not taken care, will turn bad.
1454383 tn?1288947277 If this is the Natural Clean I'm thinking of, it's for cleaning drugs out of your system to pass a drug test, not a colon cleanser. Maximum burn is a scam -- acai berry is, like all berries, high in antioxidants, but it won't help you lose weight. Real colon cleansers are based on fiber such as psyllium and some have laxatives in them, which aren't healthy, such as diet teas.
Avatar f tn I would make an appointment with a good naturopath and they will lead you in the right direction. Colon cleansing is great, but it needs to be done correctly and most MD's just don't understand the procedure, etc.
1238678 tn?1321857976 I was/am really concerned about side effects as well, mortified that I might experience some of the really bad ones such as memory loss, weight gain, mood swings...but, thankfully, (fingers crossed) so far so good. I do think though that after the next shot is when I may begin to experience them, since then is when I presume I may stop having a period and hormones will be in full swing. =( I'm nervous. And I understand your concern completely!
Avatar n tn The liquid food in your intestines is pushed through your system right to the ascending colon and past your constipated descending colon out your hinder. Then I hear that you face a bout with constipation= what I'm saying is maybe it's the constipation that's causing the diarrhea, your system is sending water and contractions to force the undigested meats and fats as well as dried feces stuck to your descending colon wall out, in order to make room for incoming nutrients.
Avatar f tn I am just worried, because basically the only thing that I do not have in terms of polyps is bloody stools, and the only thing aside from that for cancer is weight loss, and I am sure that if I continue to not eat enough, I will lose weight..
Avatar f tn This is going to be late for you, but you should never take liver cleansers while taking medication. What you're describing is a combination colon/liver cleanse. Milk thistle and yellowdock, for example, are liver cleansers, and could theoretically wash some of the medication out of our system, as the body sees virtually all medication as toxic.
Avatar n tn There are many causes like worms in stool, depression, anorexia nervosa, AIDS, cancers especially colon cancers, drug abuse, infections and loss of appetite. Loss of appetite can again be due to certain medications, drug abuse, depression, AIDS, acute and chronic infections, cancers and hypothyroidism. Either you do not eat well or there is increased metabolism as in hyperthyroid states, HIV, cancer etc.
Avatar m tn m also interested in finding out if there are other medically supervised weight-loss programs in the Chester/Chesterfield, South Richmond, or Tri-Cities areas - so far, Hall-Harris is the nearest one I can find! Thanks for sharing!
Avatar f tn I get concerned about every little ache wondering if it could be a cause. I have some bone and muscle pain, but believe that is from my cholesterol medication. My colon has slowed down but I think that is age related. Just don't know if I should worry or not. It's been going on for a couple years now. I am 54 years old. What do you think??
Avatar n tn This type of diarrhea can be Chrons disease, miscroscopic colitis, diverticulitis and even colon cancer. You need to be evaluated right away, losing weight when not trying is not a good sign.
Avatar f tn A cleansing diet would be rearranging your entire diet, for a short time or forever, to emphasize cleansing toxins out of your colon, liver, and other organs. The reason you read about fasting a lot is that it's the best cleansing diet there is -- you take in no toxins while your body has the opportunity to clean itself out in the meantime. How long to fast is controversial, but when first starting out it's usually recommended to do one day, then move on later to two, etc.
451343 tn?1256250831 t take over night to get myself in this position, all though it sometimes feels like it happened over night. just want to feel normal what ever that is. wondering about colon cleansing. i have some colon cleansing formula. wondering if i should wait to take them or what. i just feel like invasion of the body snatchers. i want my body back. i let those damn pills rob my body of sooooooooooo much. feeling a bit like a failure. im sure that will pass.
Avatar m tn i bought 3 months supply at the apidexin website after viewing alor of reviews of people claiming that it really works with fast and amazing results. Been taking it for a week now and i havent noticed no weight loss or increased energy. I was already eating less and watching the food i eat so kept that the same and nothing. Has anyone else tried this product? Usually in the reviews they claimed to see avg. 5lbs less in a week.
Avatar m tn How has it worked for you in terms of reducing appetite and promoting weight loss? Have you experienced any side effects or other problems while taking Ozempic? I have read about the effectiveness of Ozempic and I have the opportunity to purchase it, but I have not found many reviews. https://www.forbes.com/health/body/ozempic-for-weight-loss/, https://insulin.store/blog/how-does-ozempic-help-you-lose-weight/, https://www.nbcnews.
Avatar n tn For example if it started in his colon and spread someplace else, this is still considered colon cancer. There are chemo drugs specifically for colon cancer and he should go with those. Everyone is different when it comes to side effects and we don't know until we try it. I hope your dad beats this!!
