My adult daughter has spina bifida and apperars to have a blocked lower colon. She excavates herself and can feel stool that she can not reach. She is having leaking around it. We are on vacation and wonder what we can do to help her. It is ruining her vacation.

My job is such I am subject to random urianalysis, my question is how long can I expect thsi one tablet to remain in my system? I am 6"3", 235 lbs.
I started the treatment 3 days ago. It’s a machine that cleans out your colon for 45 min. It’s a good way to detox. I noticed after the first treatment I had less cravings for sugar. I pretty much forgot to eat for a whole day after the first treatment bc for some reason I didn’t feel hungry (I don’t recommend not eating). After the 2nd treatment I ate light food. I ended up having a chicken Cesaer salad and it made me go straight to the bathroom.
There was no selection choice. I am wanting to know if microwave popcorn can irritate the colon/rectum and cause minor bleeding by cutting the lining?
I don't know if it's ok during pregnancy but a enema! It cleans ur colon out. I did that and then the next day we tried.
So the symptoms stopped occuring, only to later bring abdominal pains, bad smelling odour from my crotch, thick white discharge and bad headaches. So i took a canesten tablet, and that night i got EXTREMLY bad discharge t the point of it dripping down my leg as i was walking to the washroom. What do you think this is?
Well sounds like from the tests they did u still didn't get help. The reason I asked was cause the test I'm talking about would be to test if u might have too much iron. I had similar symptoms a lot of my life but more so when i was younger. I went undiognosed and have had many other problems go undiagnosed. Look up hemochromatosis which is very common only it was once thought it was very rare so screening for it is not standard.
My indications for remove colon surgery were 2 cancerous colon polyps on 2 distant places in colon. Who suggest You to go to total colectomy? I'm not sure that constipations are indications for such surgical intervention.
I live in Belgrade, Serbia(Europe). My surgery took place in Belgrade on the Institute of oncology and radiology. I think that total colectomy intervention is very safe here - mortality is at very low level.
Also, you might start taking vitamins/minerals to keep your body in balance. Psyllium husk is all natural and cleans as it moves through...probiotics put good flora in your colon. Whatever you do, don't give up until something works. Grapes/apples are also good.

im in no way in dire pain or anything like that but my uncle was diagnosed with colon cancer at an early age somewhere around 16-20 and i am currently 21 years old. whats odd is, after i defecate my lower back pains and stomachache either comes back or gets worse.

Hi, I have a twisted colon on the left side of my lower bowel. For the past 4 months I have had burning sensations and throbbing pain in that part of my colon, and in my lower left pelvic region as well. I also have had a UTI those 4 months, which will not go away. I'm doing everything I can possibly do (water, cranberry pills, DanActive) and I've been taking a medicine called Nitrofurantoin for about 2 months which seems to make the symptoms worse.
Pericolace contains both stool softener and laxative in the same tablet. Start by taken 3 nightly and then when you start going more normally decrease to 2 and continue there, if the stool gets to loose decrease to 1 nightly.
If the bleeding is still present after softening of the stool has taken place you need to see your doctor because there are other conditions that could be causing the bleeding, including colon cancer which needs immediate treatment and not be overlooked.
I have tried everything from gas x to that stuff you drink that really cleans you out. nothings works.Do you have any suggestions or is there an opperation that can get rid of this pain i go through.

it is all over the web but I am very skeptical of it because there are all these stories out there but they are all the same just different names? they say to take the Accai Berry supplement in the morning and at night and then the Colon Cleanse supplement at night? they say they are shedding like 30 pounds in a month to a month and a half. Anyone? thanks!
Me and my husband have gone with him to the doctors many many times, and they always say he is constipated, and give us some medicine for that, like sorbitol, or microlax. It cleans it out a little bit, but it just keeps on going. (I live in Iceland, dont know if they have those in other countries) Recently we went to a new doctor who sent him for an xray, that found that he was really constipated, and gave him stronger medicine, senokt and laxoberal.
