I am aware of CDC guidelines and think that this single dose of rocephin & a total of 5gm of Biaxin over 4-5 days (in place of Azithromycin) should be effective? How long should I wait to engage in intercourse with my significant other?

s which does not help. Now.. noticed a red line from my jaw going down my neck, i have some Clarithromycin 500mg in date, do you think it would be a good idea to take them. But here is my question. I ended up with a respiratory infection and the Doc gave me Clarithromycin, I have to take 2X 500mg a day for ten days. I started the medication the day of the sexual encounter.
Will Clarithromycin help clear up any of the STD's that I might have caught during the act?
There is not too much info on Clarithromycin and STD's out there. I know one thing it is sure working on my respiratory infection big time.

I have bronchitis with a severe cough I am taking 50mg cortisone a day I am not able to cut down yet as the cough is too severe. It's been around 4 weeks since it started as a sore throat and moved down to my chest am taking antibiotics Clarithromycin 250mg & Doxycycline Monohydrate (50mg), Rikodeine or Codeine cough suppressant, Symbicort inhaler. I'm not sleeping well a couple of hours here and there and I'm exhausted, am severely constipated.
m on biaxin, but not sure how much it ordinarly costs since my insurance pays most of it.
He has prescribed clarithromycin 500mg twice a day. He told me they are only harmful in the first trimester but NHS says that they should only be used as a last resort if there is no other medicine and the pros outweigh the cons. Anyone had this medicine and gone on to have a healthy baby? Thanks in advance.
Clarithromycin 250mg, Augmex 625mg, and Amoxicillin 500mg Clavulanate Potassium 125 mg tablets. I had ad one stage 39.4C fever. got the medicine and was feeling 2 days later very normal.

And YES I agree, it was the risk that I undertook that makes them a risk.

This would not cause either the urinary tract or anal symptoms that you have noted. When condoms are applied prior to sex and do not break, condom protected sex is safe sex and not associated with meaningful risk for infection. (Incidentally, if the condoms used appeared intact following sex, they were- when condoms fail they break wide open.
It should've been 2 500mg famvir tablets to take 2x/day for 1 day. Is that what you were given or just 1 500mg pill?

As usual I got all symptoms of HIV after taking tablet prescribed Cefum 500mg and other tablets as well including psychiatric tablets by doctors.
