I was just curious, I have a buddy that mentioned that he had been having some urinary symptoms such as minor burning, the dosent happen every time he urinates, clear discharge in small amounts, and some minor soreness in the urethra. If you had gotten gonorrhea or NGU you would have most likely developed symptoms of urethritis (penile infection). Since the urine came clear, I don't know how the sample could have been contaminated with chlamydia bacteria - throat gonorrhea also was tested for and came back negative. I think what I'll do is go to the clinic and follow your advice about retesting. Looking at their website, they use the exact same test to check for throat STDs as the online one (and the online one is well respected).

Hi my name is jennifer I been taking antibiotics for the past 2 weeks, Omeprazole 20 mg, Metronidazole 500 mg and Clarithromycin 500 mg and also I been taking my birth control pills for the past 3 weeks (Jolivette). Three days ago I had a full STD screening done wherein I gave a urine sample and a throat swab. Yesterday I gave blood samples for early detection STD tests using RNA PCR. My urine and throat swab PCR test results came back yesterday. I'm clear of Gonnorrhea and Clamydia however I tested positive for Mycoplasma Hominis and Mycoplasma Genitalium. My mother (51 years) has been diagnosed with antral gastritis and also got a positive result for the presence of Helicobacter Pylori. namely Cefuroxime Axetil tablet, Ciprofloxaci, amoxyclavunalate, Clarithromycin, cefixime...and most doctors are saying this is LPRD...they prescribed omeprazole and no effect. Now I am taking esomeprazole while I am waiting for my ENT appointment. STD related issues are scaring, so I thought I would better do that swabs and get it out of my head. I just order for swabs for STDs at a lab or are there any specific test?

Also experiencing sensation of sitting on a golf ball in the perirectal area at times. GP did not seem concerned, no tests, but gave me clarithromycin/metronidazole 10 day dose and symptoms(mostly penile tip pain sometimes hours at a time) still persist. Could you please offer advise as to whether this could be a ureaplasm or myco? No way this is NG/Chlam right? Do I need any further tests,treatments,follow up?? My GP does not seem to be an expert in this area .
