Claritin and Clarinex (they work very differently) might help. Claritin makes me light headed for 30 minutes, raises blood pressure a little but wears off after a few hours. Clarinex works better for me, lasts 14 hours on me. Both are pretty weak for antihistamines. Other than this there is a couple more that use the same med as Claritin, so same effect pretty much. The other antihistamines usually cause drowsyness. Don't know of too many nasal sprays with out steroids.

I was on my way from the docs office today with my goodies and i hopped on my train to get back to my work,My bag was full of bottles of pills...5 bottles ...and 3 boxes of redi-pens with ice packs...my bag was bloated...aww...i said to myself....how can i shink this dowm a bit...i took the redi-pens out of there boxes...and i recapped them as so the tips would keep sterile....i got the caps from my other reused pens that i usee last week...

7up is helping for me .. its seems to be settling my stomach some bit.. I have to have a bottle of 7up redi in the morning . Drink 7up free cause theres so caffeine in that.. and try eat straight away ..

my mom has been experiencing this weird outbreak of hives all over her body, and when she has an outbreak it seems to cause severe joint pain,but not in the same joints it kinda travels around.she has been to an allergist but they put her on predisone and clarinex and zantec but as soon as the pred. is done the rash seems to rehash and the clarinex and othe meds seem not to help at all.

Her OB and PCP told her that taking her clarinex was OK. She is miserable without it and right now has a wicked cold. I have been reading now that clarinex is OK to take and other sites saying it is not OK. She is 21 weeks right now. Why would they say it is OK if it isn't? Thanks for any info.

In the meantime, i have switched allergy medication from Clarinex to Xyzal, which may also be helping a little. I now take the allergy medication before bed whereas before, I had been taking Clarinex in the mornings. I notice that the problem of too much mucus seems less prevalent in the mornings upon waking up. It worsens in the afternoon and evening, especially after meals. First is the cough from a problem in side or something you are breathing in? A good test I use is a HEPA filted mask. (the kind you can get in the hardware store with canisters). Wearing that for 5 minutes should clear up the mucus quite a bit if it is something you are breathing in. Easy test and takes only 5 minutes. Try a deep breath with the mask on after 5 minutes and see if you still feel like coughing.

Do I take the three drugs all at once? I know the Peg-interferon Redi-pen is used only once a week. And, the Ribavarin everyday, twice a day. The Savaldi is to be taken once a day everyday. But, am I to take them all at the same time for my initial dosage?

I had 5 failures with the redi-pen, it seems I got a bad batch, where the product was mixing incorrectly.It is quite stressful when it fails, if feels like you have "wasted" something, but my wife is a nurse, and we were definitly mixing correcty. I actually gave up on redi-pen, and mixed myself (which is also an option). In saying that, it may have just been dumb luck, perhaps the batches are better now?

I am past 72 weeks but still have several months of meds prescribed. A few here said maybe use these to taper off the peg. Why is it beneficial to taper off? What is a good schedule for tapering the redi-pen? How 'bout the Riba. Should it be tapered as well? Thanks for any feedback. You all are great!

In all the weeks i tx i have had that happen a few times, i use the redi-pen so you can't pull back which doc thinks is a waste of time as long as your giving them in your normal areas....... Good luck with your tx.

t mind, for those who injected all alone for first time, who used the syringe and who used the redi-pen? I would think the redi-pen might be easier to use, but seems like it would hurt... Thanks again!!

I went into the redi med. Hopes that they would do my bloodwork. I called my endo right away. I was mad. I said I am so weak at this level:) She said that's what we need to hear. Sent me bloodwork. Now i have to wait another week before I feel better. I am not nice when I feel like this. So people at work are noticing. Please have them increase you lol. I try not to let it bother me. I am just weak and tired lol. I said I lived my life like this, not going to anymore.

s now 2 and a half, recently after intercourse i bleed very lightly colour its like redi pink, iv neva experienced this before, i took a test n it showed 1 line n 1 extremely faint line, i was wonderin cud i be pregnant, iv been experiencin weight gain, boobs r bigger, break out in spots which is unusual, n dizzy spells, odd headache, n also stomche pains which i havent had in years. im very confused at all this as i fort the mirena was a very good contraception!

I'm not sure why you're still having discharge two days after sex. You'll naturally leak the night of sex if you have unprotected sex and he finished inside you, but that's only then--not past. Is this the first time you've ever had sex? Is the discharge clear? Pink/redi-ish? If it's the latter, it's most likely just because it was your first time and you're bleeding.

I use use Clarinex which helps a little. Tried Claritin and it did not do anything. Most nasal sprays help, a non steroid nasal spray such as NasalCrom might help too and is gentle with virtually no side effects. I found that allergy shots was the only thing that stopped it for me. I don't use nasal sprays anymore. My rynitis was really bad and clogging my air ways. Now it seems to be almost gone. I get a bit sticky but never more than clearing my throat kind of annoyance.

Not good or bad, just a number to give you a starting point. Looking at it again after a while on the meds will tell you how you're doing. The shots are not that bad. If you use the redi-pen, it's a very tiny needle. You'll feel a little clumsy but it's not as scarey as you're expecting. It's okay. Take 2 extra strength tylenol (or whatever nurse tells you) when you get home and it will help you if you get the flu-like reaction most (but not all) folks get.

What really helped me was Clarinex prescription from my doctor. It doesn't work right away. They do have claritin OTC but it is less strong. It takes a while but then it works after a while and then I hardly had any allergies. Another thing you can try along with this is daily Nasal crom spray. It doesn't harm the nose like other nasal sprays.

Are you talking about using the redi-pen? Because if so that thing is the worst and some ALWAYS seems to come out!

those things gives me the sahkes just lookn at them...never mine using them...the redi-pen is easy as pie...if you cant do the redi-pen...you have a problem...LOL...if you can stick the tail on the donkey...without the blind fold of course...your in BTW....the shot is coming on now...it hurts my fingers to type...and you say your the baby?

Try stopping current contact lens if you have them, try an oral antihistamine like Zyrtec, Claritin, or Clarinex, try an allergy drop like Patenol, Pataday, or Elestat, find out if you have allergies by seeing an allergist, then control any allergens that you are exposed to, see an ophthalmologist to be evaluated for possible oculare allergies, and also to be checked out for dry eyes. I take singulair, clarinex-d and lipo-flavonoid (for ringing in the ear) also the jelly or goo I am seeing happens almost everyday or every other day, every week is different.
