Avatar f tn Hi I am 33 weeks and every time I eat milk ice cream cheese or drink anything with dairy products In it I am in the bathroom a half hour after with really bad diarrhea What could that be
Avatar f tn I have NEVER had an issue with dairy products. However through my pregnancy I feel as though I'm almost developing a mild intolerance to it. It wasnt bad in the beginning, but now at 37 weeks any time I take in dairy it upsets my stomach. Kinda makes me afraid that my little one may also have an allergy to dairy then since I plan to breast feed. Any one else ever encounter this??
Avatar m tn I used to avoid dairy products(except buttermilk) and added sugars as far as possible in view of my family history of cholesterol and diabetes.Still I am on statin 10 mg on alternate days. Now I have perfect lipid profile.Does the complete avoidance of dairy products have any adverse effects on my system.
Avatar f tn Is it weird that dairy products are the only thing I can seem to consume without feeling bloated, nauseous, and or groggy?
1361799 tn?1277667591 t agree more with Swampys personal take. He gave you excellent advice. I suppose my personal take on any dairy products would to not even get kitty started on it, that way there's no begging for it, but a few licks of ice cream certainly won't hurt. We grilled fresh halibut a few nights ago and my husband made Jade a little piece of her own without any seasoning. Staci, unless you're talking about rarely, if it were me, I wouldn't give my cat bacon just because bacon is..
541609 tn?1273879848 Hi, I think when TTC it is important to have enough healthy fats in your diet. This means sticking to regular fat foods (regular dairy products are fine), and don't try to eat less fat. Just stick to a healthy diet, with plenty of natural (fruits, veges, nuts, meats) minimally processed foods. Keep away from transfats - which are man made fats and present in many processed foods. Go to Westonprice website if you are interested, it has a lot of info about fats in our diet.
634590 tn?1293774093 2 gram thrice a day for a week) Then on oral antibiotic for 4 weeks (ciprofloxacin 500 mg twice a day with calcium and vit d-3 alongwith with naproxin sodium). 2 weeks have been passed and 2 left. Pain is gone. im on bed rest. But when i talk feel pain little bit. Due to long use of antibiotics and NASAIDs im facing severe constipation and annal fissure. im using ispaghol husk and raw veges for relief in constipation but not helping much. What should i do to get rid of constipation.
Avatar f tn If you're hungry, any healthy food starts becoming attractive. To avoid dairy though, it's easier to stick with homecooking (as so many processed and convenience and junk foods, have milk products as one of their ingredients). Read the labels carefully for dairy products before using one of those now while on your rotation diet. For oils/fats, get some extra virgin olive oil. That, plus salt & pepper, should suffice for flavouring in simple cooking / serving. eg.
Avatar f tn There are plenty of other foods/drinks that he can be given in place of dairy products. Both of my girls were dairy intolerant and my youngest couldn't have any dairy until she was over 2, and she did just fine. There are lots of soy/rice products on the market and other ways to get calories he needs.
9445847 tn?1408059755 My second pregnancy I had a hard time with dairy products as well. Turned out that my son was very allergic to Whey (high concentration of milk). He's 5 now and thankfully is growing out of it but it was rough to deal with during pregnancy! I would advise you talk with your doctor and let them know.
Avatar f tn Ok. Thanks you've reassured me. Anyways which antibiotics were given to you. I had been to the gastroenterologist two days back and he suggested me to have the fecal blood occult and prescribed those medicines to me : Duspatalin 200 mg and Flagyl 250 mg but till now no effect...Tomorrow i have an appointment with my GI.
Avatar f tn Thank you so much, I was afraid that I might of hurt my baby by eating certain dairy products. I appreciate the infomation!!!!!
Avatar f tn What about other dairy products like cheese and yogurt? If u will eat other dairy products you can get a good bit of calcium intake from those also...
7729616 tn?1393795492 She told me that her doctor stated that according to the results of her blood tests for food sensitivity, she should not be consuming any dairy products, no products with casein in them such as cheese, no products with glutin , no wheat products. Blood tests also determined she was to have no night shades. Examples of night shades are potatoes, tomatoes, egg plant. There may be other night shades but these are the ones I'm aware of.
Avatar m tn It says on my packet not to have any dairy products for 2 hours after taking the medication. I looked it up and dairy products inhibit the workings of the thyroxine medication. have others been told this?
1580703 tn?1651904887 You may need a CPAP machine to aid your breathing at night. You might get some help by stopping dairy products because dairy products cause a lot of mucus production.
Avatar n tn Hi, I am a little sensitive to dairy products but do not have any major symptoms except for that I may have some minor stomach aches and go to the bathroom more often (but not diarrhea). My family doctor took a blood test for me and told me that I "have a milk allergy and should try to stay away from dairy products and if I do decide to eat dairy, I should take a Lactaid pill".
Avatar f tn You may be allergic to animal or feathers as mentioned by you. But it is unlikely that you may also be allergic to dairy products. It may help to maintain a food dairy and keep monitoring your symptoms. This will help to narrow the search and avoid them. Further allergic testing may be worth looking into. Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
Avatar f tn But also try to take in as few foods that are hard on sick stomachs. Try to avoid heavy foods, and dairy products. Best way to go is BRAT diet for a couple days: Bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast. I know, doesn't seem too appealing, but these foods are easy on your belly (even the applesauce)! And simple additions to this diet include tea and yogurt...
Avatar m tn Beans and tofu are great sources of protein but for breakfast I suggest cottage cheese (which is a complete protein) you can make it sweet or savory!
Avatar f tn You stated you have stopped some foods. Have you stopped all dairy products, yogurt, pudding, and cheeses? Suggest using soy yogurt, soy pudding, and soy cheese in place of dairy products and see how his stools are. Children can move their bowels normally 3-4 times a day. If you are still concerned, then suggest going to Allergist to find out if he has an allergy.
Avatar f tn It works great. If I eat any dairy at all, it comes back with a vengeance, so I cannot ever have any dairy again, or pay the price.
Avatar m tn You're lactose intolerant, allergic to dairy products. I developed this same allergy and had to completely eliminate dairy from my diet or I would get sick. Yes it *****, but you have to listen to your body. Look at it like this - someone with a fish or peanut allergy avoid those foods because their body will reject them and effect the body negatively. Well, that's what dairy does to you.
