yes! i have an unprotected exposure.. so can be affect the ARS by taking (ciprofloxacin or antibiotics) because i did not experienced any of the sign & symptoms of HIV within 12 weeks while taken antibiotics?
Hi I meant to say that I dint remember exact date of exposure. First I had unprotected oral sex exposure on 6th Dec2013, then protected intercourse on midlle of dec somewhat but don't remember.
So now , as u said above I am on amoxicillin + Ciprofloxacin from last 8 days now (for bacterial diagnosed on my penis) .
Now, I want to re-test for all STD's .
actually sun is very beneficial to both you and baby, you need around 20 min of exposure to the sun everyday on your arms and legs, a little more if your dark skinned, your body gets its vitamin D from being exposed to the sun, otherwise you risk having vit D deficiency which isnt good, and you end up by having to take suppliments, just be sure that you dont go out in the hottest part of the day and if you do put on sunscreen :)

It is possible that you have/had sun poisioning. Any antibiotics will add to the harsh exposure of the sun. That is why they tell you to try to avoid the sun if you can or use a high level of sunscreen if you are out in the sun. If you are not feeling better soon, you should see your doctor. Please be careful while in the sun while on these medications. It can cause some major symptoms not to mention the higher risk of sun burn. Hope you feel better soon.
I don't know if I have Trich or not but I was wondering if taking Ciprofloxacin 500mg 2x daily would cure it?
Hi, I had an exposure( protected sex condom slipped off ). Few weeks later i got a uninary tract infection . for 3 weeks I have and still been under antibiotics (levofloxacin,ciprofloxacin,clarithromycin,doxycycline and cefuroxime ) i went for an Hiv test 6 weeks after exposure and was negative. I once had extreme fatigue for a whole day during this medication.. My question is could these antibiotics delay immune response to Hiv and thus delay antibody production???
I got tested for chlamydia, gonorrhea and HIV RNA at day 5 and day 13 after possible exposure and both came back negative. My symptoms started happening 5 days after my last sexual encounter. It has been 3 weeks with this pain now. I sometimes also feel my legs/feet hot and with some pain the back of my legs and buttocks. I am worried that I have something more serious but I cannot find information about STDs with my type of symptoms. Please share any ideas you have.
Today I went to the doctor (about 10 days after exposure) with extreme pain while peeing, the constant urge to pee and a sticky discharge; all three appeared over night on Thurs [48 hrs ago] and has never stopped. I saw another doctor that prescribed ciprofloxacin and gentimicin..I took that for 10days...I still have these symptoms even after so many medications...am having fevers at midday coupled with burning thighs and anus.pls what could these be??
Then I panicked and ran to the nearest pharmacy and and took 1g of Zithromax, 400mg of Cefixime and 2x500g of Ciprofloxacin. I am planning to take additionally 500mg of Ciprofloxacin 2x daily.
My questions are now 1) Are these treatments effective so soon after potential exposure or do I have to wait and see if I get symptoms and then repeat the treatment? 2) Will these treatments generally cure Gonorrhea, Chlamydia and Syphills or do I need others?

I am on medication for other reasons and doctor prescribed "Proxacin 500 ciprofloxacin" twice a day for 14 days. I investigated about the drug and found that it also cures for gonorrhea and chlamydia spp, urinary tract infections and so many other infections
I was tested for chlamydia trachomatis PCR 2 days after unprotected oral sex and was negative.
had the same sexual exposure, only my frequent urination started 2 to 3 weeks post encounter. i was given ciprofloxacin 500mg for one week if I remember correctly. the frequent urination problem persisted for about 2 months, then it was better. currently i have no problems.
drink plenty of water. if you can, you can also test for NGU, gohnorrea, chlamydia and syphilis if you have not done it so.
