Avatar f tn I'd been on dexamethasone for bronchitis and then I went to hospital and they changed me to prednisone. I was also been on ciprofloxacin and roxithromycin so I'm not 100% sure what caused the rash. On these drugs, my skin was perfectly clear, something that it has never been before. I've always had eczema and those tiny white follicle bumps all over.
Avatar f tn Several months ago my doctor gave me a short course of an antibiotic (azithromycin) for bronchitis. I immediately noticed a change in my bowel movements that has continued until now. Previously, they almost always floated, but now they almost always sink. I'm also seeing more little balls. I also pass gas pretty often, but that has always been true. I did not change my diet or exercise. I've tried eating yogurt but see no effect from it. What's up?

Avatar m tn i've went to the doctor a year ago and was diagnosed with acute bronchitis and took antibiotics to get rid of it. However, it never completely left. I always find by self breathless, tired, drained and I hardly have any energy. I also am constantly spitting in light red blood with yellow mucus mixed in it. So do you think I may have copd?

15559407 tn?1441369521 thought it was bronchitis. Then it evolved to asthma like symptoms during the night. My throat would suddenly close up and I couldn't breathe in or out and in the worst attacks I had to retch several times to clear it. After getting tests in the ER (chest x ray/cat scan) it was thought that GERD was causing the issue. Sure enough I started getting digestive issues and stomach bloating/pain. However I am still not sure that is the cause and keep going back to bronchitis.

Avatar f tn 34.4 weeks. & I have bronchitis. Every time I cough I puke. My 11 month old also has it - on top of an ear infection in both ears (which she had a few weeks ago and was given antibiotics and it apparently didn't clear up)!!!! :( she's miserable & doesn't want to leave my arms if I go to set her down she screams. I'm exhausted before the sickness and it's really hard to hold her for long because she's really heavy esp on my belly.
Avatar f tn I'm 33 weeks and have bronchitis. I'm currently taking amoxicillin but need something for the cough. I checked with my doctor and he said plain robitussin. What has any one else taken or home remedies for It to stop (cough)?
Avatar n tn Hi, I was diagnosed with bronchitis three years ago. I didn't really have a bad life style but I change what I could. So I go walking most days I've given up dairy and eat lots of food that is good for respiratory such as pineapple, green leafy veggies etc. I do breathing exercise to bring up mucus. I had things under control till i was 12 wks pregnant, I got a chest infection around Sep. and still have it now. I've taken 8 lots of antibiotic's over this time.

Avatar m tn I had a swollen right testicle which was treated by ciprofloxacin 500g twice daily. The swelling went and the pain in the testicle reduced but then my left one started to hurt, is that conman for the infection to swap sides. I also have pain in my lower back and lower abdomen and very painful headaches. The doctor didn't seem to bothered about it or even check it over. They have prescribed me another 10 day course of ciprofloxacin.
Avatar m tn In parallel, we did the semen analysis also at a Urology center. They have prescribed Ciprofloxacin 500mg for 14 days-2 dosage each day. At the moment I stopped taking thyroxine and taking only Cipro. Our worry is whether the hypothyrodism is causing issue in low fertility and motility or the infection in semen (for suggesting to take Ciprofloxacin) the main problem now? Is hypothyrodism resolved with the intake of Ciprofloxacin or are both different issues? Please clarify.
Avatar n tn I've been taking Ciprofloxacin for about a week. On tuesday I went to the gym for the first time in a while, and for the past few days my shoulder muscles have been sore. I saw on the instructions with my medicine that there's a risk of tendonitis while taking Ciprofloxacin, is this something I should be worried about? I wouldn't have exercised that much if I had known. The soreness has been getting steadily better.
