Alternatively, you could try drinking lots of cranberry
juice and water instead. My mother in law does that
and she is 92. She has had repeated urinary tract infections due to structural problems. If you are not diabetic you can do that. It takes several days and lots of regular cranberry juice. They also have cranberry pills but you still have to drink a lot of water to flush out the bacteria. But then you have to keep getting up to use the bathroom. I don't know what your situation is.
