737131 tn?1236968031 I was just wondering how it could be possible that tapering 3 tablets in 6 weeks (1/2 tablets per week) could make me so ill. Now I am on 2,25 tablets per day and have tapering for 3 months. Tomorrow I`m going to reduce to 2 tablets per day. My doctor did´t help me on this problem. He was just wondering why I´m going to stop using this medication...
Avatar m tn Celexa is another trade name for Cipramil. They have the same chemical composition. I was on 10mg of Cipramil for only 10 days and I have stopped for 5 months already. I have not be on any other antidepressant since then. The loud ringing sound is still there. You mentioned that you were on 20mg of Celexa. How long were you on this medication? Did you switched to another antidepressant or did you stop taking altogether? Is there anymore ringging sound in your ears.

1128565 tn?1316721143 Hi All it's Lorraine Went to specialists re- adrenals and they just take me off 150 mg's of venalfluxine, then on to 20 mg's of Cipramil - which in turn effect your periods make you bleed like a pig and effect PMT which is bad enough with a thyroid problem without making it worse. So I go back to my Dr who changes these tablets last Thursday to 75 mg's of Dosulepin, which effect your thyroid/Adrennals!!!!!

Avatar f tn Since October 2008 I have been experiencing weird sensations and paresthesias over the entire right side of my body. I took 4 tablets of a new antidepressant medication (Citalopram/cipramil/celexa) and suffered an aura migraine that made my right side, head to toe, numb and with dulled sensations on that side, even in my mouth and nose.

Avatar f tn I'm on exactly the same as you 3 times a day. Before taking them I felt so faint every time I stood up it was horrible :/ must of been due to low iron and low blood pressure. Not a nice time when you go to the toilet though!!!

Avatar m tn Most cough and cold medications are actually okay to take with Warfarin, as long as they don't contain any steroid or non-steroidal antiinflammatory (like Advil or Motrin). These also thin the blood, and can be a problem when combined with Warfarin. For a cough, try something like guaifenesin, like Robitussin Severe Congestion Liquagels or Mucinex. Avoid dextramethorphan, like Robitussin DM.

492869 tn?1285018933 Due to the nature of salt tablets and the way that salt naturally interacts with the stomach you probably want find any Salt tablets that dont cause nausea. I have found the best thing to do is just add salt to everything. Little and often is absorbed a lot better than one big dose all in one go.
Avatar n tn On the few occasions that this happens the Doc prescribes a short 30mg 6 tablets a day course of Prednisolone tablets which usually clears up my Asthma symptoms. My concern is the side effects that are related to Prednisolone tablets i.e. thinning of the bonnes, what I would like to know is would it be a good idea to take calcium tablets on a regular basis or just when I’m on the Prednisolone or are they worth taking at all? Any advice would be most appreciated.
