Avatar f tn Hi all I'm on day 4 taking cipralex after switching from escitalopram my question to you all is my anxiety is getting worse by the day and having to take a zopiclone to sleep at night will my anxiety slowly fade in time as I take the cipralex daily no other side effects to report just the heightened anxiety any info on this would be great Thanks Jessica
1267205 tn?1321117128 In the short term things like ativan or klonpin (sorry don't know the generic names) are used. Klonpin I hear more for bipolars as it has some mood stabilizing properties and is longer acting so less chance of addictions. Neither are long term solutions though as you can develop tolerance (need more medication to get the same effect) or addiction (need the drug compulsively). With one pdoc I had a prescription for Klonpin and that was a nice thing to have on hand for emergencies.
3166043 tn?1514260018 I've been wondering since I got out of the hospital after my suicide attempt why they put me on propananol (I think it's called that) I searched it and apparently it's for blood pressure? I remember them monitoring my blood pressure for the first few days in the hospital because they said when I had panic attacks my blood pressure went up. I was in such a panic when I was admitted they gave me Ativan to put under my tongue and I passed out for 16 hours.

874521 tn?1424116797 Your pharmacist will tell you which generic brand your taking. As far as I know only malikroft is allowed to make the generic form of oxycontin. When you get a generic your RX bottle will list the name brand and the generic name under it.
Avatar f tn Hi there, I am new to this forum and I think you guys can help me more than my doc seems to be helping. I am in University and I have had anxiety for over 10 years but have never received help for it. Trouble sleeping, breathing, concentrating and I have negative thoughts which my doctor attributes to anxiety. Firstly, I recognize all of my symptoms as anxiety except for negative thoughts.
Avatar n tn They go thru testing to prove that they are just as effective. Canada is the only country besides india that is offering generic valtrex at this time hence why I asked.
16087137 tn?1445209323 he unofficially assured me about generic versions made in Canada, that can legally ship to the US. I recieved a sample from this company: http://goo.gl/iw450u and am thinking about ordering. Has anyone here ever had any experience with generic versions of Cialis or Viagra? This discussion is related to <a href="/posts/Erectile-Dysfunction/Erectile-dysfunction/show/1092442">Erectile dysfunction</a>.
950277 tn?1247274551 celexa generic citalopram and brand name cipram in the the eastern countries is produced by the same Danish company which produces cipralex/lexapro/escitalopram. In different forums one finds many pts using it. it's weaker than lexapro, exactly half its therapeutic dose in maximum and minimum. BP pts take wellbutrin, celexa, lexapro in the majority of the cases. A few take seroxat/paxil to go with lamictal.
Avatar f tn The online generic Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate Tablet is only 30/300mg for 75USD, or 90/300mg for 145USD, at Canadian Pharmacy King referred by pharmacychecker, so much cheaper than the brand. Is it for real?
Avatar f tn I just ordered more Cymbalta from Canada who in turn orders it from India. I always get the generic duloxetine from them but this time I also got duvanta.
Avatar m tn In Canada there is a generic form if you cannot get assistance from Novartis (the makers) I use http://www.canadapharmacyonline.com for my albuterol my copay in the US is $35 for 1 ,there I pay $60 for four including shipping. A friend of mine gets his Depakote from there it is so much cheaper, Trileptal I think in generic was $43 for 100 (150mg) generics. Check it out, they will tell you who makes it and what country, most are from Canada. PS.
Avatar f tn I have several different strengths of synthroid (every time they change my dose, it seems like they do it right after I've refilled my script) and none of them say "synthroid" on them. They all have the strength (100,88,50, etc) on one side and appear to be blank on the other side (either that or my bifocals aren't working well tonight LOL).
Avatar f tn In 2012 I was put on cipralex. 5mg, then, 10mg, then 20mg. I took it for a year, felt good, and then stopped (weaned off). Ever since then I have had MAJOR ups and downs. And honestly I think the medication did more harm than good in the long run. I have even had a panic attack since then. Times where I think I'm going crazy, I'm going to collapse, faint, lose my mind. To be honest with you, don't ever take medication for anxiety and depression.
Avatar f tn Been on wellbutrin generic for 2 1/2 weeks and feel way more depressed. Is this common?
Avatar f tn What would be your suggestion for how to switch from the Paxil to cipralex? I know that 20mg Paxil equals about 10mg cipralex. What rate would you decrease + increase? Perhaps you could give me a rough outline of how to make the transition? Thanks so much!
1001742 tn?1252685847 Cipralex is an anti-anxiety pill. Escitalopram belongs to the group of medications called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). It is used to treat depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). It works by increasing levels of a neurotransmitter called serotonin in the brain. Increased serotonin levels can lead to an improved mood.
382218 tn?1341181487 That's Cool! I'm still waiting for the funding to come through between the pharm co. and whatever federal programs might fill in. My insurance will cover NOTHING unless it's generic. I was supposed to get my 1st infusion last week. We'll see what happens this week.
Avatar f tn I just realized Ive tried Cipralex too which I think is the same as Lexapro, im from Canada. So having tried Cipralex, sertraline, effexor, pristiq, wellbutrin, noratripytyline..what other non-stimulating anti depressant could i suggest to my doctor"?
Avatar f tn What is the best way to get help paying for copaxone or is there a generic version that is less expensive? I was hoping to start taking it soon, but Im afraid I can't afford it. Also, has anyone taken the new oral version? Is it less expensive? I was advised not to use it but I certainly will if I can afford it. Plus, what are the other benefits of using copaxone othr than slowing down the formation of new lesions. Will I get my energy back? Will my concentration get better?
1569985 tn?1328247482 I have no experience with Norplace, but I do take generic everything... now even on Metoprolol regular release to get the generic. The generic is about the cost of aspirin (well a bit more but in that price range) and I take Warfarin. I started on Toprol XR then Metorprolol SR, now Metoprolol which I take twice a day (12 hours). Warfarin is just once a day. All generics work for me, or work as well.
Avatar f tn I've been on cipralex 20mg for about 1.5 yrs, before that was on 40mgs of celexa.. I'm 37, about 190lbs 5'7".. Anyway my question is, my dr prescribed me ability 2.5mgs that I'm scared to start because of all the scary side effects I've read :-(. I guess I should also let u no that I suffer from severe anxiety/ severe depression disorder.
Avatar m tn I live in the US. If you are looking for Tenofovir, I'd suggest checking out a doctor at the HepB.org site and talking to them about a clinical trial (whether it's for Viread or another Hep B clinical trial). Some may offer right off the bat. I'm unsure about the price without insurance. I suspect, without insurance, $80 a pill?
Avatar n tn I don't know how you were told to take the cipralex, but it is at least probably best to take it in the morning. It's not one you're supposed to get tired of. You might want to read the leaflet of it too. That's always a good idea. I agree on the thyroid test suggested above. That's one of the first things that should be checked, even if not all depression has to be genetic or "run in the family". Have you read here in MedHelp about Depression?
