I take prescription medication on a daily basis dealing with anxiety, depression, mood and personality disorders. Will my meds hurt my baby? I take Clonazapam, cipralex, epival, and seroquel.

it is unbear able some times a feeling of loosing control alot of tention grinding my teeth ringing in the ears and head my doc told me to up my dose to cipralex 20mg but i am afraid it will make it worse. and the side affects will be a big problem. please let me know what i can do i take omega 3 joy and multivitamins . and i take vitamin b6 b 12 shots twice a week .. what aree your suggestions they would be very helpful. thank you for your time .

I take seroquel, cipralex and have been taking NeoCitran for a bad cold. I feel down, negative, tired even a little depressed. I wonder if this a side effect of the anti-depressent mixed with the cold medication?

thank you sir I would like to inform you that i have consulted various doctors specialized in medicine, neuro, ortho, rheumotologists, and used variety of medicine like, epival, sensival, dulan, tegral, prothyadine, arcalion, zeegap, pegalin, neuromax, mecobal, cipralex, ronirol, flexin, froben, CAC Plus 1000. the usage of all of the above medicines provided me no potential relief.

He told me to consult with the psychristic. I consulted with the psychristic. He advised me to take cipralex for one and half month. After taking the cipralex too i feels the same sympton. For that i once again consulted with the other neurophysician in bangalore. He advised me for doing the MRI Scan. The result of the MRI saying "Mild ectopia of cerebellar tonsils. The tips of the tonsil is 5mm below the formen magnum. No mass effect is seen on the Brain stem.

I was on cipralex (lexapro in the US) for almost 3 years and initially experienced some dry mouth, but no extreme side effects at all. It worked amazingly for me. I started on 10mg and then doubled to 20mg after 1 year. I recently switched to Paxil about 1 month ago, and have really disliked the way it makes me feel. My anxiety has been much worse and the side effects are just awful. It has been so much worse than cipralex.

If possible I would see a thyroid specialist or an endocrinologist and have all of the proper tests taken. The cold feet sound like a symptom for an underactive thyroid. Blood tests can have different reactions on different days, I would definitely get a second opinion.

It can cause SSRI withdrawal syndrome characterized by nausea, electric shock like feeling, sweating, insomnia, confusion, vertigo, tremor and nightmares. So, if you do not have these symptoms and are only feeling depressed, you are probably suffering from SSRI discontinuation syndrome. You may need to restart Cipralex or any other anti-depressant.

So do you think panic and fear can be an extra side effect of cipralex and i should increase the above doze of xanax.

The way I look at it, It is bad enough I have not slept in over a month, but to add the flu/cold is just not right and I need to be able to function and work until I have my baby.( No one else pays my bills but me! No work=not paying mortgage) If its only a few days when you are miserable. I do not see the harm...but others may feel different.

I have been on cipralex for about 3 years now and have been symptom free and side effect free. I made the decision to begin slowly weaning. I dropped from 20mg to 15mg about 3 weeks ago. My questions is: Has anyone else experienced insomnia as a withdrawl side effect? I haven't been able to sleep for the past 4 nights and I'm not sure if it could be due to this decrease. Aside from the lack of sleep, I feel great! Any information/suggestions would be appreciated.

I had anxiety and I was on Cipralex 20mg & Zyprexa 5mg I was doing fine. I got a viral infection for which I used leflox 500mg antibiotic 2 times a day. The viral infection got cured but I got anxiety. My doctor has gave me a plan to temper zyprexa as it was giving me brain fog and has added wellburtin SR 150mg. I am asking him to give me some benzodiazepines he does not gives as he says that Cipralex & Wellburtin are enough. He says that give wellburtin 3 weeks to work.

Hi I cant answer your question on cipralex as I have never taken it, my nephew as been on it for over 5years and he drops is doseage and goes down again, if you feel well on 10mgs why worry, just get yourself well on 10mgs stay that way for awhile then talk to your doctor about withdrawel, but be well and happy on 10mgs if 5mgs is bringing back the anxiety, I have been stuck on benzoes for over 30years yet one day I do hope to be benzoe free.

I was on Cipralex for a year since losing dad and losing my job. had bad anxiety and insomnia.

I was always told to take tylenol cold. and for the dayquil nyquil is has acohol in it and asprin so i wouldnt recommend it. But you could also call your ob and ask what is safe and whats not.

Vit C morning and afternoon, Echinacea 3x a day, honey, ginger n lemon tea, boil some chicken bones in a pot of water with carrot, celery, onion and a splash of vinegar for 24 hours then strain and drink a cup 2-3 times a day. These all work WAY quicker for me to relieve and cure a cold than any medicine I've found.

m barely getting over my cold and mucinex is what my doc and the nurses and the hospital said was good to take, also the pharmacist agreed that was the best while pregnant
