Cialis low dose

Common Questions and Answers about Cialis low dose

cialis

Avatar f tn I'm a 33yo guy, in overall good health, I've been on a low dose of Metoprolol for about a year for benign tachycardia. I've cut my dose down to 25 mg a day since I noticed I began having trouble maintaining erections more than I'd like. Used to never have that issue. I've gotten prescribed Cialis 5mg, haven't taken it yet, is it safe for the heart to take? Like it won't trigger any dangerous rhythms or anything? Really wanting to get my sex life back.
Avatar n tn This sounds frustrating man, sorry it's happening. During sex with a partner, you can not maintain full erection? Are you semi erect then? This is a question I have to ask. Cialis works on physical problems that lead to ED but not mental health ones. Are you suffering any type of anxiety, depression, mental health issue? This can also impact erection. what happens if you take a higher dose of cialis? It goes all the way up to 20mg. I'd see about a higher dose and if that helps.
612551 tn?1450022175 he also recommended Cialis and I tried the low dose daily for a week and even with a double does (two time 2.5) then the 20 mg a couple hours before. None gave any real help. There is other evidence I can achieve ... it may be I'm just still in "shock" that the opportunity has arisen at my "advanced" age. I enjoy the company of my loving and attractive woman friend in any case. So, we'll not give up working on adjusting and caring/loving each other.
Avatar f tn m uncomfortable with feeling the fast heart beat and I may just be more in tune with it than other people, because I also have some anxiety too. I take a low dose of xanax for this. Going to the cardiologist again and see if I can come up with a better medication regimen, because I'd like to avoid taking Cialis at my age if I can avoid it.
Avatar n tn Well the Cialis is similar to a viagara. It's a 36hr time released Vasodilator that helps w blood flow to the penis. It doesn't help w/ increased libido but it helps the erection problems. It works and is not covered by my insurance so it's quite expensive.
Avatar m tn It can be taken about 1 to 2 hours prior to full effect being necessary or at a low dose, can be taken every day. It lasts about a day and a half allowing you to get erections that whole time. However, as I'm sure your doctor told you, if you get an erection that lasts something like 4 hours, call your doctor and get medical attention. Once you start taking it, it will just allow you to function like you did prior. There 'can' be side effects though to watch out for. https://www.
Avatar n tn why can I not split my Cialis dose? I have lots of 20mg tablet but I found out that 5mg daily is better to keep from muscle atrophy happening.
Avatar n tn The only medication he now has to take is Cartia which is a blood pressure medicine and low dose aspirin. He is 64 years old and in good health. Would taking one of the drugs to treat ED, like Viagra or Cialis be harmful to him?
1396517 tn?1500880649 I'm type 2 diabetic and overweight and have not had any erection problems until this year when during foreplay I'd be as hard as a rock, but go soft just before insertion... my wife has been understanding, but it has been frustrating. My Doctor said that erection problems are more common than people think - especially for people over 40 and she could prescribe a generic 'Cialis' if need be but I was too embarrassed to take up the offer.
Avatar f tn Hi. So did you take the dose as prescribed by your doctor? That's within the range of dosing offered. But not likely where someone is started if you are new to it. Has it worked for you before? One of the biggest issues with it working properly is timing of sex. Too soon, won't work right. Too long after taking it, won't work right. Another way it is prescribed to help is to take a lower dose (often 2.5 mg) but every day at the same time each day. Then it is in your system.
Avatar m tn What dose of Cialis did your Dr. prescribe? I think 20 mg is the normal dose, but I think there's also a 10 mg dose, and these 2 are for 'one-time' or 'on-demand' use when you expect to have sex. Cialis has a much longer effect than Viagra or Levitra, up to 36 hr in some cases.
Avatar n tn Have you talked to your doctor about increasing your dose of Cialis. This sometimes needs to be done if you are having problems in the sex department.
Avatar f tn I've been dealing with some ED just as I am about to penetrate, happens even with Cialis 20mg. Pretty convinced it's an anxiety issue because I can be hard as a rock before my current FWB arrives. My question is really about meds like Klonopin and Valium. I've read that they interfere with erections however small doses like 0.5 or 1mg have gotten me through highly stressful situations and the occasional life freakout. I aced an important software exam once thanks to a 0.
Avatar m tn I'm 35 and i have found the same issue with cialis, but i've been tying it off to nerves cause i'm afraid to disappoint my partner. I use 10mg cialis and I often wonder if I need a stronger dose or use another brand, or learn some calming techniques..
Avatar m tn I am considering switching from Levitra to Cialis. Have read that Cialis has a longer half life (up to 36 hrs vs. 5-7 hrs.). Anyway, I have tried extending Levitra's half-life by taking a second dosage a few hours later, but no matter what, the max effects still really fade off 5-7 hours after the initial dosage. Wondering if anyone knows why this might be... and why a second dose would not extend the effects? Just helps with planning.
Avatar f tn Cialis 5 mg is the minimal dose. It is absolutely safe to take with beta blocker. My only concern would be that 5 mg is insufficient to give you a good erection but the only way to fine out is to try it.
Avatar f tn Yes 10mg which he said was the lowest dose. I do have an anxiety disorder for which I already take some low dose meds nightly and don't wish to add more meds on top. The propranolol seems like a good idea if it will target isolated anxiety producing events that trigger this ED or other panic type symptoms. I'm sorta hopeful that propranolol itself will help me push past this occasional sex performance anxiety. Still want to run it by my GP though.
Avatar f tn So I'm starting Cialis 5mg a day as needed for erectile dysfunction due to side effects from Metoprolol. I've cut down my dose of Metoprolol to about 37.5mg a day. I have no lack of interest, just my penis goes soft without manual stimulation. If I stroke it, fine, but if I'm having sex, for the last year or so, since I started the meds, it will periodically go soft without constant stroking which is highly annoying. I'm only 33 too.
Avatar f tn I'm 33, slim, in decent health, not overweight at all, for about the past year or so, I've been experiencing some erectile dysfunction. Not entirely, but basically what happens is I can get an erection if I'm turned on or if it's been a while since I last ejaculated, but I have trouble maintaining the erection during sex. I notice that it might start out fine but then about half way in I'll get somewhat soft or even totally soft then get hard, and back again.
Avatar m tn I've had CSR for several years and I'm wondering if an occassional 2mg dose of Cialis causes any issues with CSR. I noticed the commercial state something about Cialis and visual problems. Anyone know for sure?
Avatar m tn well you would be surprised by all the different things they have these days to help w/ ur situation and to help people maintain a healthy sex life! Cialis and Viagra seem to be the ones they advertise about most but the best thing is to not be embarrassed and just talk to your dr and see if they could give you something. :) best of luck!
Avatar f tn Gave me the option if 10-20mg additional Cialis, or a small dose of Viagra for a confidence booster. Just looking for opinions.
