Common Questions and Answers about Cialis dosing options

cialis

Avatar f tn Hi. So did you take the dose as prescribed by your doctor? That's within the range of dosing offered. But not likely where someone is started if you are new to it. Has it worked for you before? One of the biggest issues with it working properly is timing of sex. Too soon, won't work right. Too long after taking it, won't work right. Another way it is prescribed to help is to take a lower dose (often 2.5 mg) but every day at the same time each day. Then it is in your system.
Avatar m tn I was once given a 20mg Cialis pill by a friend and broke it in half. So I took around 10mg dosage. I cannot afford Cialis through my insurance so I was going to try the free sample voucher on their website. They have 2 different options. the every day dosage of 5mg or the 20mg dosage for one time use. I don't have an all the time problem, so I would be taking it on occasion. The thing is you only get 3 pills of one time use and 30 5mg pills. Are they the exact same thing?
Avatar n tn Well the Cialis is similar to a viagara. It's a 36hr time released Vasodilator that helps w blood flow to the penis. It doesn't help w/ increased libido but it helps the erection problems. It works and is not covered by my insurance so it's quite expensive.
Avatar m tn Yes, there are options. You need to see a urologist who specializes in ED. I used to work for one back before Viagra, and there were options.
427265 tn?1444076436 Has anyone's Dr. recommended double dosing? I was under the assumption that it was a personal choice people made and did on their own. If I don't decide to go with a trial, my Dr. wants me to double dose peg 180 mg 2x per week and 1400-1600 copeg (weight based) for 4 weeks. If RVR at 4 weeks, continue SOC for a total of 48 weeks. If no RVR, continue double dosing until week 12, the SOC to 72 weeks.
Avatar n tn I just looked at several websites about this and only found 2 answers. One, there IS a cialis made for women. Two, women should not take cialis for men. No reason was given. Sorry that's all I have for you.
Avatar m tn My urologist gave me samples of ED meds, but I want a permanent solution. Are there any options for me? I need to know where to go from here. I am open to medicinal suggestions as well as homeopathic options. Two years ago I had an active sex life and a very strong libido. Please help!
Avatar m tn 00 AM, 5 hours ago. Since then I have felt no real change, and I still can't maintain an erection when trying to penetrate my partner. Am I possibly doing something wrong that might interfere with the drug's working? Is there something nobody told me that I'm forgetting? Should I try another drug instead of Cialis?
1396517 tn?1500880649 I'm type 2 diabetic and overweight and have not had any erection problems until this year when during foreplay I'd be as hard as a rock, but go soft just before insertion... my wife has been understanding, but it has been frustrating. My Doctor said that erection problems are more common than people think - especially for people over 40 and she could prescribe a generic 'Cialis' if need be but I was too embarrassed to take up the offer.
Avatar f tn I'm 33, slim, in decent health, not overweight at all, for about the past year or so, I've been experiencing some erectile dysfunction. Not entirely, but basically what happens is I can get an erection if I'm turned on or if it's been a while since I last ejaculated, but I have trouble maintaining the erection during sex. I notice that it might start out fine but then about half way in I'll get somewhat soft or even totally soft then get hard, and back again.
Avatar m tn ve had ED for 10 years and taking Cialis. I am curious what your doctor told you 10 years ago and when he prescribed Cialis. 21 was a young age to have ED. I wonder if the body gets used to the drugs and eventually they are not so effective, and then they should not be taken on a daily basis but used only when necessary. Your diabetes is a factor, also. I would advise you to work with a urologist, and if you have, go to another as a second opinion.
Avatar m tn I understand that there are treatments that can be administered by the doctor in office regarding new medical devices. I am on Testosterone therapy and take Cialis but I still have trouble achieving a firm erection and can’t maintain an erection as a consequence, I have great difficulty reaching an orgasm. What might the doctor be able to do for me to help me achieve ejaculation?
Avatar n tn t touched his wife because he cannot get an erection, and he got the Cialis to see if it would make a difference, and it hasn't yet. It could also be for the other things Cialis is prescribed for. (It's not just for erectile dysfunction.) Good luck to her in figuring it out.
Avatar n tn If you want to improve them, Cialis may be a good solution. A study out of Italy reported that men who take Cialis (tadalafil) every other day had improved blood vessels after 4 weeks. Trazodone is a sleeping pill that can also improve erections. If, after going through the necessary tests, your doctor concludes that your case is purely psychological, there are effective solutions available.
Avatar n tn I have been using Cialis 10mg every other day for almost 1 year over the past 3-6 months I have been having trouble reaching a climax. After checking up on my other medications (Nexium and Benazepril 5mg) I have come to a conculsion that the problem is being caused by Cialis. Can you give me any supporting information?
Avatar m tn PDE-5 inhibitors (Viagra, Cialis, Levitra) are safe and very effective but results may vary. I've been taking Cialis for over a year with excellent results and no relevant side effects. I also tried Levitra and it worked fine but Cialis is my favorite. Everyone is different, though: some men prefer Levitra, others prefer Cialis or Viagra.
Avatar f tn Ok so I took a Cialis from my bf and took it to see of it could help me have an orgasm as lately I on anti depressants and haven't been able too. My face got hot and swollen and turned purplish red and my nose is plugged etc. Is that a normal reaction for a female using Cialis? Thanks.
Avatar m tn • Went to see an ED specialist who basically told me I was too young to be having these issues and prescribed me Cialis. Which seems to work fantastic, but I want to resolve the issue not just treat it with medication. The thing now is that I've met this amazing girl and I want to see it where it goes with her. I know talking about it with a partner can prob help t work through it, but i think ED is a tad full on to drop on someone after dating for a few weeks.
612551 tn?1450022175 I think I was/am. I now have a prescription for Cialis and a large discount coupon.. Medicare and thus my Part D doesn't pay anything toward the cost of this expensive medication. My cardiologist has also said Cialis could be taken and may help, he also said I can try stopping my beta blocker as long as my AFib doesn't make my heart run too high a heart rate. I am also thinking testing a drop in Statin drugs. All testing has been approved by my Primary Care and Cardiologist.
Avatar f tn I was diagnosed with secondary autoimmune adrenal insufficiency in December. I feel lousy most of the time, have chronic abdominal pain and abnormal stools, and feel best flat on my back...which doesn't work well for someone who works 12 hour shifts in a busy ER while selling one house, building another, and has 2 teens and a disabled husband, lol. Here's my question. If a person has say diabetes, their meds are based on their blood sugars.
Avatar m tn hello Doctor i going to the rapid blood test before on one day I took 2 capsules (cialis and i everyday taking oil fish omega3) can cialis or oil fish omega3 affect an hiv test rapid reliability or any test for hiv ?
