Pfizer called me back and said it's corn starch. I don't understand why these companies use allergans as fillers when most people with thyroid problems have multiple food allergies.

J, I got Pfizer. I again had a sore arm but this time forafter the first shot it lasted for 2 days and I also had a moderate headache for 2 days. I don't care, a teeny tiny price to pay. The second shot gave no side effects. I think they say things like 6 months wait because that's the sample they use for the study and they won't say more than what the study showed. I'm no immunologist but the reason I waited was to give time for the first to work.
This IS interesting. so there are pros and cons, dos and donts...i see.....so far, Pfizer PR dept who i contacted directly, wrote back one, saying they would look into it, but they have not replied to me since and that was 8 days ago.....what are they afraid of.....? weird. just tell me the answer from their POV and why or why not, right?
If I don't get an answer, I plan to call up a reporter at the NYTimes or TIME magazine, and ask fro them to do a story on this.
See, this is what I mean. I've read that the Moderna vaccine has had fewer significant side effects as the Pfizer, which isn't really a Pfizer vaccine but a BioNTech vaccine, has had more allergic reactions. But again, so far most of the evidence is anecdotal, and I don't have a choice as to which vaccine I'm getting. I really don't know. I guess I'll find out when they tell me how long it is before I get the 2d shot.
Celebrex (there is no generic but the active ingredient is celecoxib) is an expensive NSAID (non-steroidal-anti-inflammatory-drug), and there are no alternatives exactly like it, but you may be able to try something similar. Most NSAIDS follow two pathways in the body, COX-1 inhibition and COX-2 inhibition. The second one is desirable, as it decreases the inflammation. The first pathway can slowly destroy the stomach lining and over time, cause ulcers or GI bleeding.

And true enough,this 20 year-old girl, not much older than myself at 19-going-on-20, has that problem.
