After seeing my dentist for a routine examination earlier today, I was referred to an oral surgeon for removal and biopsy of the aforementioned lesion. It is currently nothing that is bothersome, although this past month I developed an edematous cheek (possible sinus infection - of which I have never had) and was placed on cefzil. I have responded well to the antiobiotic and the edema is starting to subside. The lesion did bother me at the onset of infection - more an awareness, than pain.
My 10 year old has been diagnosed at a childrens hospital with asthma about 4 years ago As an infant I had been given an inhaler and mask for her because she was wheezing after throwing up her formula which she did often .
The doctor said that because his prescription is so severe, he wants him to wear the glasses all the time and to cover his good eye with a patch for 8 hours a day for a year and half at least, which it bothers him tremendously. Any other suggestion in this matter?
How do I get my son to wear the patch? and do you think it is too early for an astigmatism to be detected? Will his vision benefit from the glasses and the patch? Any advice on how to get him used to them?
Toddlers tend to put their hands in their mouths alot ( and my son ***** his thumb when he is sleepy).I wash his hands often but he still gets these throat infections. Except for a period when he went about 4 months without any problem, he gets the infections about every three to four weeks or so. On occasion, if his throat is only a little red, he will get over it on his own. But more often that not, his throat is very infected and ulcers develop so that he needs an antibiotic.

m just wondering what are the main reason why some woman have many children?My mother has 7 children and she seems overworked and tired but she does'nt seem to show an regret at all.Is it related to educational level or childhood experience?My mother started work in a textile facotry when she was just 13 and stopped her formal education then.She also said she was teased in school and felt lonely.

I take meclizine for the nausea, valium for the brain shocks, and now Seroquel for insomnia. Valium I can quit cold turkey(long half-life). Its seroquel that has me concerned because it antagonizes many parts of the brain that Remeron does creating a sedative effect possibly making it addictive. Am I robbing Peter To pay Paul???? Has anyone had experiences with Remeron(mirtazapine) or Seroquel (quetiapine). Particularly withdrawal Experiences.
I think that is probably the most damaging stage of grief for children. As adults, we understand that anger is part of the process, but a child can become emotionally crippled because they can't understand how they can be so angry, even feel hatred, towards someone they love so much.
I'm sure his mother is trying her best to comfort him, but I know how difficult it is when you're in so much pain yourself.
The steroids could definitely be causing some extra anxiety as well. I originally got panic attacks for taking steroids for asthma (which was misdiagnosed and really was a severe sinus infection). I don't believe the antibiotic would be giving you the anxiety. Just bring these symptoms up to your doctor if you feel bad.
hello. i have known this forum for long time, it helped my friend once, but this is the first time i have to ask. my question is weird. but i am anxious when it comes to my child so please help. the only thing i am really curious is,if the imune system of small children is less strong and they can catch hiv more easily (or this is negligible). my 4yrs old son loves to meet a friend of mine, who is just great friend but her sexual life is not always "safe".
