cefprozil rash

Over the last five days I have developed a rash that runs from my eyelids to my lower cheeks, and appears again on my chin. On the first day I noticed itchiness I also noticed a small patch of dry skin. As the rash has become worse, my upper lip is now covered in crustrations, some of which are honey coloured. The rash has died down in itchiness but is swollen especially over my eyes. I have been to over five doctors now and am waiting to see a dermatologist..

Fever, very swollen lymph nodes and frequently a body rash that would accompany. The illness would last a few days then dissipate. Occasionally his joints would flare up. Sometimes his wrists and fingers. Most often one or both knees. Lately he has been unable to move his neck or turn his head. He describes the pain as sharp and internal- not muscular. His latest fever and spinal/neck pain- MD prescribed Ceftin. The rash came back and then a new alarming symptom developed- Dermatographism.

My son had high fever with rash on his hands arms, back and chest. We took him to the doctor and he diagnosed Scarlet fever. He priscribed Amoxicillin for 10 days. He started taking it and 3rd day his fever was gone, rash was gone. I sent him to day care for one day as I had to go to office and he came back with minor fever again. We thought his antibiotics is still not finished may be he will be fine. Next morning his legs badly hurt. Then I notice he was starting pink eye.

Hello. My urethra is extrememly swollen and painfull. It is not a UTI, herpes or and STD just had my physical 6 weeks ago. It has been painfull off and on for 6 months. The first Dr. prescribed cefprozil. It didn't do anything. The second Dr. gave me an antifungal with anti-iflammatory cream. It helps slightly but everything is still extremely swollen. I am worried it might be something more serious? I have no discharge.

My son who just turned 1 years old a few weeks ago has had stye like bumps on his eye lids for almost 5 weeks now. He actually has four, one on each lid and they are pretty close to the lids. I've been using topical eye ointment and warm compress for many weeks now and they sometimes appear to be getting better, then worse again and have not yet gone away. Now his lids are pretty swollen and red and I've started giving him oral anitbiotics (Cefprozil) which are prescribed for 10 days.

t think it was herpes but I definitely needed antibiotics and prescribed Cefprozil. I asked if I should be taking the Acylovir, and she said no. After a couple of days taking the Cefprozil the burning during urination stopped. That said, my lesions had then changed in appearance. I now had the yellowish fluid filled blisters in a few areas over reddish skin. My lymph nodes in my groin were also tender on one side. The area is sore to touch but not itchy yet.

I have had a strange pain in my left arm and leg for about a week now. I originally went to the Dr.'s last week due to an ear ache in my left ear. I was given Apo-Cefprozil - two days later my leg felt weird ( by the achilles tendant) -I shrugged this off as I have recently began running a lot. The next day my toes were tingling and the pain was also in my arm ( feels like carpal tunnel). My first thought was that my medication was too strong (500 mg twice a day).

I appreciate the info but in my case I didn't have the sore throat or other symptoms until 2 days after the encounter, which has me worried

Norfloxacin (they found out the bacteria was resistant to this), Apo-cefprozil, Nitrofurantoin - that was what I had tried for oral antibiotics. The nasty little bacteria that won't die is called klebsiella, they've found it in every single culture they've done of my urine. So they decided it was time for a drastic measure: IV antibiotics. I was on Ertapenem for 7 days intravenously, and that did not work at all.

I have 11 Cefprozil 500mg and 10 Clindamycin 150mg. Will these antibiotics help me? I've already begun drinking as much water as I can.

I just saw an ENT a couple days ago and hes prescribed me ran-cefprozil. didnt give me much of an explaination....asked if ihad tried antibiotics i said no cause everything seems to show negative so he gave me those. from what i gather on the net its commonly used to fight throat infections of some sort. been on it for 4 days now, saw a bit of a change but has been getting sore again tonight. its a 14 day period so i guess ill see till then.

Today i met another doctor and she told me to use another antibiotic for 5 days, if the lumps present even after that she said i need to have a total blood count test, ultrasound and FNA once again. Even now also the lymph nodes are still swollen. Currently i am using Cefprozil 500mg tablets. I really don't want end my life with cancer. I hope i will get normal with less pain and strain.

So very tired, and insomnia and everything. and forgot to take my pm dose of lamitrogine. I had a .... rash - and above the neck! but it was like that sunburn rash I used to get years and years ago, so I decided after copious amounts of research on the internet that I would keep it at 75mg for a couple of days and go up to 100. Because I am not taking lithium or anything else that makes me sleep or put on weight. Just no.

My boyfriend had heart surgery 4 weeks ago and few days ago a rash appeard on his lower right leg. It does itch and is very red. Not sure what this could be. There are no other rashes on his body. Can anyone help? I am stumped.

For all of you out there that are worried about having a rash and you have tryed all meds and creams and its still there ask your doctor for a cream called betnovate and this hopefully will work as its worked for my daughter

I'm calling it a rash, but I don't really know what it is. I took a picture of it and downloaded it as my profile picture. It itches and is a redish color. I have had it for a couple months and it hasn't gone away. I have been using Triamcinolone Acetonide cream from someone, but it hasn't helped. Hi, I have a sunburn like rash all over my face which burns I also have pink eyes which have bags under them they are also quite bloodshot in the mornings I have tried everything I can think of I was just wondering if anyone would be able to suggest what could be causing this as I am at the end of my tether now.

I am 39 weeks 5 days... I have developed a rash. I have eczema normally in the winter / change of seasons, but this is CRAZY. The doctor said they didn't think it was PUPP, but I am COVERED. I have tried the steroid cream the Dr gave me, calamine lotion, oatmeal bath, benedryl (which knocks me out cold for hours), witch hazel, cold compress and even baking soda paste oh and coconut oil. Nothing seems to ease the itch and if it does in one place it comes out in another. Any suggestions?!

Over the past couple of days, I've developed a rash. It's right where my bra hits, so underneath my breasts and in between them. It's annoying more than anything. I'm already top heavy before getting pregnant, probably about 36F, so on top of the girls hurting with pregnancy, they are now itchy. Also, no bra is not an option. Nothing has changed other than I'm now pregnant. No changes to laundry soap or bath soap or anything. Suggestions to help?!

t work so I tried lotrimin and it seemed to clear up in a day. This red rash lasted for four days. I saw my dermatologist when I got back home, but by this time it was already healing. I showed her pictures and she said that it looked like a fungal infection with intertrigo. I'm negative for hsv 2 at 16 weeks, so I know it's not that. I am positive for hsv 1 though, have been a for a couple years. Does this sound like an hsv 1 genital infection? What does this sound like?

It's nothing like an allergic reaction and it's not infections or harming me or the baby just annoying the poo out of me.
